4. Setup
4.1. App Installation
Download the eWeLink Smart app from the iOS App Store or Google Play Store on your smartphone or tablet.
4.2. Device Pairing with eWeLink App
Follow these steps to add your device to the eWeLink app:
- Open the eWeLink app and tap the 'Add' button to begin the device pairing process.
- Select 'Quick Pairing' as the pairing method. Ensure your device is in pairing mode (refer to the device's LED indicator for status).
- Choose your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network (5GHz networks are not supported) and enter the correct password. Tap 'Next'.
- The app will search for and connect to your device. This process may take a few moments.
- Once the device is found and added successfully, you can name it and assign it to a room. Tap 'Done' to complete.
4.3. Wiring Diagrams
Ensure all power is disconnected before performing any wiring. Consult a qualified electrician if you are unsure.
4.4. RF Remote Control Pairing (for RF-enabled modules)
If your module includes RF functionality, you can pair a 433MHz learning code remote control. Clone codes and rolling code remotes are not supported.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1. APP Remote Control
Once paired, you can control your connected devices from anywhere using the eWeLink app. Simply tap the respective channel buttons in the app to turn devices on or off.
5.2. Working Modes
The switch supports three working modes: self-locking, interlocking, and inching. The default mode is self-locking.
- Self-locking Mode: Each channel operates independently. Turning one channel on or off does not affect the other.
- Interlock Mode: When one channel is turned on, the other channel automatically turns off. This is ideal for controlling motors that move in two directions (e.g., garage doors, curtains).
- Inching Mode: The device turns on for a set duration (default 1 second, adjustable from 2 to 3600 seconds in the app) and then automatically turns off. This is useful for momentary actions like opening a gate.

Set up schedules, countdowns, or loop timers within the eWeLink app to automate your devices.
5.4. Voice Control

6. Maintenance

7. Troubleshooting
- Device not pairing: Ensure your Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz. The module does not support 5GHz Wi-Fi. Also, verify that your router's MAC filtering is open.
- No power to the module: The latest version of the module does not support USB 5V voltage input. Ensure you are using the correct DC/AC 7-32V or AC 85-250V input as specified.
- RF Remote not working: Only 433MHz learning code remote controls are supported. Clone codes and rolling code remotes are not compatible. Ensure the remote's battery is functional.
- Inching mode duration: The default inching time is 1 second. You can adjust this duration from 2 seconds to 3600 seconds within the eWeLink app settings for the specific device.
- App connectivity issues: Ensure your smartphone or tablet has a stable internet connection via 2.4GHz Wi-Fi.

- For garage door openers or similar applications requiring specific timing, remember that the inching time can be customized from 2 to 3600 seconds in the eWeLink app.
