4. Setup

4.1 Installing the SIM Card and Battery

  1. Remove the back cover of the device.
  2. Insert your micro SIM card (3FF) into the designated SIM card slot. Ensure the card is oriented correctly.
  3. Insert the 1500mAh battery into its compartment.
  4. Replace the back cover.

4.2 Initial Power On

Press and hold the Power button on the side of the device until the LED indicators light up. The device will take a moment to start and connect to the network.

4.3 Connecting to Wi-Fi

To connect your devices (smartphone, laptop, tablet) to the mobile hotspot:

  1. Turn on Wi-Fi on your device.
  2. Search for available Wi-Fi networks.
  3. Locate the Wi-Fi network name (SSID) for your HUAWEI E5576-325. This information, along with the network key (WPA2-PSK password), can be found on a sticker on the device itself (often under the battery cover or on the back).
  4. Select the SSID and enter the password to connect.

You can manage your device settings via the web interface. Connect to your device's Wi-Fi network, then open a web browser and navigate to http://pocket.wifi. Use the password provided on the device's information sticker to log in.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off

  • To Power On: Press and hold the Power button until the indicators light up.
  • To Power Off: Press and hold the Power button until the indicators turn off.

5.2 Checking Device Status

Observe the LED indicators for the current status of your device:

  • Signal LED: Indicates network connectivity and signal strength.
  • Battery LED: Indicates battery charge level. Refer to the device's full manual or web interface for detailed LED behavior.

5.3 Connecting Multiple Users

The HUAWEI E5576-325 supports up to 16 simultaneous Wi-Fi users. Each user can connect using the SSID and password as described in Section 4.3.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Charging the Battery

Connect the device to a power source using the provided USB cable. The battery indicator LED will show the charging status. A full charge provides approximately 6 hours of working time.

6.2 Factory Reset

If you experience persistent issues or forget your device's settings, you can perform a factory reset. Locate the Reset Key (usually a small pinhole button inside the battery compartment). Use a thin object (like a paperclip) to press and hold the Reset Key for a few seconds until the device restarts. This will restore all settings to their factory defaults.

6.3 General Care

  • Keep the device dry and away from extreme temperatures.
