3. Setup and Connection
Follow these steps to set up and connect your MUCAR VO7 S diagnostic tool to a vehicle:
- Charge the Device: Before first use, ensure the MUCAR VO7 S tablet is fully charged using the provided Type-C cable and power adapter.
- Locate the OBD-II Port: The OBD-II port is typically located under the dashboard on the driver's side of the vehicle.
- Connect the OBD II Bluetooth Connector: Plug the OBD II Bluetooth Connector into the vehicle's OBD-II port. Ensure a secure connection.
- Power On the Device: Press and hold the ON/OFF button on the MUCAR VO7 S tablet to power it on.
- Establish Bluetooth Connection: The tablet will automatically attempt to connect to the OBD II Bluetooth Connector. Follow any on-screen prompts to confirm the connection.

- Oil Reset: Resets the oil life system after an oil change.
- Elec. Throttle Adaption: Initializes the throttle actuator.

4.4. Bi-Directional Control (Active Test)
This feature allows you to perform individual tests on specific subsystems or components to accurately locate fault parts. Without using the vehicle's controls, you can activate components like the radiator fan, modulate the throttle, open/close windows, operate mirrors, turn lights on/off, activate the horn, and test door locks.

This enables performing diagnostics such as reading/clearing codes and data stream analysis. The MUCAR VO7 S features a convenient one-click Wi-Fi update system. To update the software:
- Ensure the MUCAR VO7 S tablet is powered on.
- Connect the device to a stable Wi-Fi network.
- On the home page, tap the 'Update' button. The device will automatically check for and install available updates.
