- Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the electric bike/scooter in a dry, temperate environment.
6. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Display does not power on | Loose power connection, battery low, E-Door clock off. | Check all power connections. Ensure battery is charged. Turn on E-Door clock/main power switch. |
| Motor not responding | Loose motor connections, Hall sensor issue, throttle fault. | Check motor phase wires and Hall sensor connections. Test throttle. Perform self-study if available. |
| Display shows "E07" error | Motor Hall sensor fault. | Check the Hall sensor wiring from the motor to the controller. Ensure connections are secure and undamaged. If the issue persists, the Hall sensor or motor may need replacement. |
| Incorrect speed reading | Incorrect P04 (wheel diameter) setting. | Enter parameter settings and adjust P04 to the correct wheel diameter of your bike. |
| Voltage display incorrect | Incorrect P03 (voltage) setting. | Enter parameter settings and adjust P03 to match your battery's nominal voltage. |
Note: If you encounter persistent issues or error codes not listed here, please consult a qualified technician or contact FOCAN customer support.
7. User Tips
- Voltage Setting: Always double-check the P03 voltage setting on the LCD display to ensure it matches your battery's voltage (e.g., 24V, 36V, 48V, 52V, 60V). An incorrect setting can lead to inaccurate readings or system malfunction.
- Wiring Check: Before every ride, quickly inspect visible wiring for any signs of wear, damage, or loose connections to ensure safe operation.
- Handlebar Compatibility: The display is designed for 22.2mm handlebars. Ensure your handlebars are compatible for a secure fit.
