6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the camera body and lens. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
  • Storage: Store the camera in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Charge the device regularly, even if not in use, to maintain battery health.
  • Firmware Updates: Check the manufacturer's website periodically for any available firmware updates to improve performance or add features.

7. Troubleshooting

Camera does not power on:
Ensure the battery is sufficiently charged. Connect the camera to a power source and try again. If the issue persists, try pressing the RST (Reset) button with a thin object (like a paperclip).
Cannot record video/take photos:
Check if a MicroSD/TF card is properly inserted and has sufficient free space. Ensure the card is not locked. If the card is full, transfer files to a computer and format the card (this will erase all data).
Poor video/photo quality:
Ensure the lens is clean and free from smudges. Check lighting conditions; for low light, ensure night vision is active. Ensure the camera is held steady during recording/capture.
No Wi-Fi connectivity:
Please note: This specific model (SKU 12000034609280507, 'NO WIFI hotspot') does NOT include Wi-Fi functionality. If you require Wi-Fi, please ensure you purchase a model explicitly advertised with this feature.

  • Battery Life: To maximize the 7-hour recording time, ensure the camera is fully charged before extended use. Consider carrying a portable power bank for longer sessions.
