8. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your BQCC JSD-530, please refer to the following common problems and solutions:
8.1 Unit Does Not Turn On or Screen is Blank
- Check Power Wiring: Ensure the yellow wire (B+) is connected to a constant 12V power source, the red wire (ACC) to the ignition switch (12V when car is on, 0V when off), and the black wire to the negative ground.
- Check Fuses: Inspect the fuses in both the vehicle's electrical outlets and the unit itself for any blown fuses.
8.2 No Sound from Speakers
- Check Speaker Wiring: Verify that all speaker wires are correctly connected according to the manual's interface definition or the body label. Incorrect wiring can damage the power amplifier chip.
8.3 Unit Does Not Retain Settings (Radio Stations, Music)
- Check Red and Yellow Wires: This usually indicates that the red (ACC) and yellow (B+) wires are reversed or incorrectly connected. Ensure the yellow wire (B+) has constant 12V, and the red wire (ACC) is connected to the ignition switch.
8.4 Cannot Read or Play SD/USB Media
- Storage Capacity: Use 8GB or 16GB storage cards or USB flash drives. Larger capacities may not be supported.
- Format: Ensure the storage device is formatted with a common file system (e.g., FAT32).
- File Format: Use common audio/video formats (MP3, WMA, WAV, FLAC, APE). Partially encoded files may not be recognized.
8.5 Bluetooth Connection Fails or Functions Abnormally
- Device Name: Search for "CAR BT" or "CAR KIT" on your mobile phone.
- Clear Paired Devices: Delete any previously paired but unconnected Bluetooth devices from your phone's Bluetooth list. Sometimes, old pairings can interfere with new connections.
Important: For issues involving disassembly or complex circuit problems, it is highly recommended to seek professional assistance to avoid further damage to your vehicle or the unit.
