5. Installation
Before installation, ensure your door meets the following requirements:
- Door Thickness: 35mm to 55mm.
- Mortise Type: The default mortise included is 5050. Verify compatibility with your door.
Installation Steps:
- Prepare the Door: Use the provided punch drawings/installation template to mark and drill holes on your door. Ensure precise measurements for the mortise, lock body, and handle components.
- Install the Mortise: Insert the 5050 mortise lock body into the prepared cavity on the door edge. Secure it with screws.

6. Setup
The lock supports various unlocking methods and smart home integration via the Tuya Smart Life app.

6.1 App Setup (Tuya Smart Life)
- Download App: Download the "Tuya Smart" or "Smart Life" app from your smartphone's app store.
- Register/Login: Create an account or log in to your existing account.
- Add Device: In the app, tap '+' to add a new device. Select 'Security & Video Surveillance' > 'Smart Lock (Wi-Fi)'.
- Connect to Wi-Fi: Follow the in-app instructions to connect the lock to your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network.
- Initial Configuration: Once connected, you can name your lock and proceed to add users and unlock methods.
6.2 Fingerprint Setup
The lock features an AI fingerprint sensor for quick and accurate recognition.

- Access Fingerprint Management: In the Tuya Smart Life app, navigate to your lock's settings and find 'Fingerprint Management'.

7.1 Unlocking the Door
- Fingerprint: Place your registered finger on the fingerprint sensor. The lock will unlock in approximately 0.5 seconds.
- Password: Enter your registered password on the keypad, followed by '#'.
- IC/NFC Card: Tap your registered IC/NFC card on the designated sensor area.
- App: Use the Tuya Smart Life app to remotely unlock the door.
- Mechanical Key: Use the mechanical key in the emergency keyhole.
7.2 Locking the Door
The lock features an automatic lock body. After closing the door, the lock will automatically engage.
- Electronic Locking Switch: On the rear panel, there is an electronic lock switch (ON/OFF). Ensure it is in the 'ON' position for automatic locking.

You can generate and send passwords to guests or service providers remotely via the app.
