4. Setup
4.1 Physical Installation and Wiring
The access controller is designed for easy installation. Ensure all power is disconnected before proceeding with wiring.

4.2 Tuya APP Installation and Pairing
To utilize the smart features, install and pair the device with the Tuya Smart application:
- Download Tuya APP: Scan the QR code provided in the product packaging or search for "Tuya Smart" in your device's App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
- Initiate Pairing on Controller: On the access control keypad, enter
*123456 # 041#. Wait for approximately 5 seconds until the indicator light on the keypad begins to flash, indicating it's in pairing mode. - Add Device in Tuya APP: Open the Tuya APP on your mobile phone. Tap to add a new device.
- Select Device Type: Navigate to "Camera & Lock" and then select "Lock (Wi-Fi)".
- Connect to Wi-Fi: The app will prompt you to connect to available devices. Choose your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network and enter the password.
- Confirm Indicator: Confirm that the device indicator light is flashing as instructed by the app, then click "Done".
- Select AP Mode: If prompted, select "AP Mode" for connection.
- Connect to Device Hotspot: Connect your mobile phone's Wi-Fi to the device's hotspot (e.g., "SmartLife-XXXX").
- Complete Connection: The app will show "Connecting" and then "Added successfully". Click "Done".
- Enable Remote Unlock: In the app settings for the device, open the remote unlock setting.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Unlocking Methods
The access controller supports five different door opening methods:
- Tuya APP Remote Unlock: Open the Tuya Smart app, navigate to your device, and hold/press the unlock icon to open the door from anywhere.
- Temporary Password Unlock: Generate temporary passwords via the Tuya APP. These passwords are valid for a specific period (e.g., 6 hours) and can be set for one-time use. They can be shared via WeChat, Email, or SMS.
- RFID Card Unlock: Present a registered MF 1K compatible RFID card to the card reading area on the keypad.
- Password Unlock: Enter a registered password on the touch keypad.
- RFID Card + Password Unlock: Present a registered RFID card, then enter the corresponding password on the keypad.
- Remote Control Unlock: If connected, use a compatible remote control to unlock the door.
- Door Exit Button Unlock: If connected, press the door exit button from inside to unlock.

5.2 Management Card Function
The controller allows for easy programming using management cards (not included in the package, must be set by yourself). These cards simplify the process of adding or deleting user RFID cards and passwords without needing a computer.

The keypad includes a doorbell button. When pressed, it will activate a connected wired doorbell system.
5.4 Normally Open Mode
For areas with frequent entry and exit, you can set the controller to a "Normally Open" mode via the Tuya APP. This allows the door to remain unlocked for a specified period or indefinitely until manually changed.

- Tuya APP Connectivity Issues: Confirm your Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz. Double-check the Wi-Fi password entered during pairing. Ensure the access controller is in pairing mode (flashing indicator light) when attempting to connect via the app.

- Door Not Unlocking: Check the wiring to the electric lock and ensure the power supply is functioning correctly. Verify that the entered password or RFID card is valid and registered.
