1. Introduction

The Bisofice I60 is an intelligent biometric fingerprint and password attendance machine designed for efficient employee time tracking. This device offers quick and accurate identification, making it ideal for various environments such as offices, factories, schools, and supermarkets. It features a user-friendly 2.4-inch HD color screen, supports multiple authentication methods, and simplifies data management by allowing direct export of attendance reports via USB.

2. Safety & Warnings

Please read all instructions carefully before using this product. Failure to follow these instructions may result in product damage or personal injury.

Important Safety Information:

5. Setup

5.1 Unpacking and Initial Inspection

Carefully unpack the attendance machine and all accessories. Verify that all components are present:

  • 1 x Attendance Machine
  • 1 x Power Adapter (US/EU plug type, depending on your order)
  • 1 x Wall Install Parts Kit (screws and wall anchors)

Inspect the device for any visible damage. Do not proceed with setup if the device appears damaged.

5.2 Power Connection

Connect the provided DC 5V power adapter to the power input port on the side of the device. Plug the adapter into a suitable power outlet (100-240V). The device will power on automatically.

5.3 Wall Mounting (Optional)

If wall mounting, use the provided wall install parts kit. Mark the desired mounting position on the wall, drill holes, insert wall anchors, and secure the device using the screws through the mounting holes on the back of the machine.

5.4 Initial Configuration

Upon first power-on, you may need to set the date, time, and language. Navigate through the menu using the keypad and M/OK button. Refer to the on-screen prompts for guidance.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 User Registration (Admin)

Before employees can clock in, an administrator must register their fingerprints and/or passwords.

  1. Press the M/OK button to enter the main menu.
  2. Navigate to 'User Management' or 'Enroll User'.
  3. Select 'Enroll Fingerprint' or 'Enroll Password'.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to place the finger on the scanner multiple times until registration is complete. For password, enter and confirm the desired password.
  5. Assign a User ID to the new entry.

6.2 Clocking In/Out

Employees can clock in or out using their registered fingerprint or password.

  1. Fingerprint: Place a registered finger firmly on the fingerprint scanner. The device will provide a voice prompt (e.g., "Clock in successfully") upon successful identification.
  2. Password: Enter your User ID using the keypad, then press M/OK. Enter your password, then press M/OK again.

6.3 Generating and Exporting Reports

The device can generate attendance reports directly to a USB flash disk without requiring external software.

  1. Insert a formatted USB flash disk into the USB port on the side of the device.
  2. Press the M/OK button to enter the main menu.
  3. Navigate to 'Report' or 'Data Management'.
  4. Select 'Download Report' or 'Export Data'.
  5. Choose the desired time period for the report (e.g., daily, weekly, monthly).
  6. Confirm the export. The device will save an Excel (.xls) file to the USB disk.
  7. Safely remove the USB disk after the export is complete.

7. Maintenance

7.1 Cleaning

  • Regularly wipe the screen and fingerprint scanner with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or aerosol sprays, as these can damage the device.
  • Ensure the fingerprint scanner is free of dust and debris for optimal performance.

7.2 Environmental Conditions

  • Operate the device within the specified temperature range of 0℃~40℃ (32°F~104°F).
  • Maintain an operating humidity between 20%-80%.
  • Avoid exposing the device to direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, or high humidity.

8. Troubleshooting

8.1 Common Issues and Solutions

Issue Possible Cause Solution
Fingerprint not recognized Finger is wet, dirty, or improperly placed; fingerprint not registered; scanner is dirty. Ensure finger is clean and dry. Place finger firmly and completely on the scanner. Re-enroll fingerprint if necessary. Clean the scanner surface.
Device does not power on Power adapter not connected; power outlet malfunction; faulty adapter. Check power adapter connection. Try a different power outlet. Ensure the adapter is working correctly.
Cannot export data to USB USB disk is full, corrupted, or incompatible; incorrect export procedure. Ensure USB disk has sufficient space and is formatted correctly (FAT32 recommended). Try a different USB disk. Follow the export steps carefully.
Incorrect time/date displayed Time/date settings are incorrect. Access the system settings via the menu and adjust the date and time.

9. User Tips

  • Fingerprint Registration: For optimal recognition, register multiple angles of each finger (e.g., slightly left, right, and center) to improve accuracy and reduce failed attempts.
  • Data Backup: Regularly back up your attendance data to a USB flash drive. This ensures data integrity and provides a historical record in case of device issues.
  • Password Security: If using password authentication, choose strong, unique passwords and change them periodically.
  • Placement: Install the device in a location that is easily accessible but protected from direct sunlight, dust, and moisture to prolong its lifespan and ensure consistent performance.

10. Warranty & Support

10.1 Manufacturer's Warranty

This product comes with a 12-month limited manufacturer's warranty for defective items, starting from the date of receipt. Accessories are covered by a 3-month warranty. The warranty does not cover items damaged or misused after receipt.

Defective items must be reported and returned within the warranty period, preferably in their original packaging. Please provide your order number and a clear description of the defect when reporting an issue.
