1. Introduction

Thank you for purchasing the Topsion P10 Mini Android Projector. This portable smart projector is designed to deliver a high-quality visual experience for home cinema, outdoor entertainment, and professional presentations. Featuring 4K decoding, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and electric focus, the P10 offers versatile connectivity and ease of use. This manual provides essential information for setting up, operating, and maintaining your projector.

4. Setup Guide

4.1 Power Connection

  1. Connect the provided power cable to the "Power input" port on the projector (refer to Figure 3.1).
  2. Plug the other end of the power cable into a suitable AC power outlet.
  3. Press the power button on the projector or the remote control to turn on the device.

4.2 Initial Placement and Focus

  1. Place the projector on a stable, flat surface, or mount it according to your preference (T4, Throwing, Ceiling, Mirror Image modes are supported).
  2. Position the projector at the desired distance from your projection surface. For a 100-inch 1080P HD screen, a distance of approximately 8.6 feet (2.6 meters) is recommended.
  3. Turn on the projector. Once the Android interface appears, use the remote control's "Shrink" and "Enlarge" buttons to adjust the focus until the image is clear.

4.3 Network Connection (Wi-Fi)

  1. Navigate to the "Settings" menu on the projector's home screen (refer to Figure 3.1 for UI example).
  2. Select "Wi-Fi" or "Network Settings".
  3. Choose your desired 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network from the list.
  4. Enter the Wi-Fi password and connect.

4.4 Connecting External Devices

The projector supports various input methods:

  • HDMI: Connect a notebook, TV box, or game console to the "HD-IN" port using an HDMI cable.
  • USB: Insert a USB flash disk into the "USB" port to play media files directly. You can also connect a USB mouse or keyboard for easier navigation.
  • 3.5mm Earphone: Connect external speakers or headphones to the 3.5mm audio jack for enhanced sound.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Electric Focus Adjustment

The P10 projector features electric focus for convenient image clarity adjustment. Use the "Shrink" and "Enlarge" buttons on the remote control (Figure 3.2) to fine-tune the focus until the projected image is sharp.

5.2 Keystone Correction

For projections that are not perfectly perpendicular to the screen, the P10 offers keystone correction. It supports ±45° horizontal and vertical, as well as ±45° left and right keystone correction. Access this feature through the projector's settings menu.

5.3 Wireless Screen Casting

The projector supports multi-screen interaction, allowing you to cast content wirelessly from your mobile phone, tablet, or laptop. This feature enables seamless sharing of videos, games, presentations, and online teaching materials without interrupting other activities on your mobile device.

5.4 Media Playback and Decoding

The P10 projector supports 6K decoding in various formats, including H.265/HEVC. This ensures incredibly clear and smooth playback of videos and images, offering superior efficiency compared to H.264.

5.5 Diffuse Imaging Technology

Unlike ordinary LED projectors, the P10 utilizes diffuse imaging. Projection light enters the human eye through diffuse reflection, which is designed to reduce eye fatigue and protect users' eyesight, providing a more comfortable visual experience.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning the Lens

  • Use a soft, lint-free cloth specifically designed for optical lenses.
  • Gently wipe the lens in a circular motion. Avoid using abrasive materials or harsh chemicals.
  • For stubborn smudges, a small amount of lens cleaning solution applied to the cloth (not directly to the lens) can be used.

6.2 General Cleaning

  • Wipe the projector's exterior with a soft, dry cloth.
  • Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosols directly on the projector.
  • Ensure ventilation openings are clear of dust and obstructions to prevent overheating.

6.3 Storage

  • When not in use for extended periods, store the projector in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Consider using a protective cover to prevent dust accumulation.

7. Troubleshooting
