4. Setup and Installation
4.1. General Installation Considerations
- The access controller is IP68 waterproof and can be installed outdoors.
- Ensure all power is disconnected before beginning installation.
- Choose the appropriate lock and bracket type based on your door material and opening direction.
4.2. Wiring Diagram
Connect the access control keypad, electric lock, door exit button, and door bell to the DC12V power supply according to the diagram below. Then, connect the DC12V power supply to your AC110-260V power source.

4.3. Tuya APP Setup Instructions
- Download Tuya APP: Scan the QR code provided in the product packaging or search for "TuyaSmart" in your device's App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
- Initiate Pairing on Access Controller: On the access control machine, enter
*123456#041#. Wait for 5 seconds for the indicator light to flash, signaling that the device is ready for pairing via WiFi. - Add New Equipment in Tuya APP: Open the Tuya APP on your mobile phone and select the option to add new equipment.
- Select Device Type: Choose "Camera & Lock", then click "Lock(Wi-Fi)".
- Connect to Wi-Fi: The app will prompt you to connect with available devices. Select your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network and enter the password.
- Confirm Indicator: Confirm that the device indicator light is flashing as instructed by the app, then click "Done".
- Select AP Mode: Choose "AP Mode" for connection.
- Connect Mobile WiFi to Device Hotspot: Connect your mobile phone's Wi-Fi to the device's hotspot (e.g., "SmartLife-XXXX").
- Complete Connection: The app will show "Connecting" and then "Added successfully". Click "Done".
- Open Remote Unlock Setting: Navigate to the settings within the Tuya APP and enable the remote unlock feature.

4.4. Lock and Bracket Installation (Kit-dependent)
The installation of the electric lock and any necessary brackets depends on the specific kit purchased and your door type. Refer to the diagrams below for common configurations:
- Kit 2 (without Lock): Includes access control keypad, power supply, exit button, doorbell, and RFID key cards.

- Kit 3 (Electric Strike Lock): Suitable for wooden and metal doors. No bracket needed.

- Kit 4 (Electric Drop Bolt Lock): Suitable for wooden, metal, and stainless steel doors. No bracket needed.

- Kit 5 (180KG Electric Magnetic Lock): Suitable for wooden, metal, and glass frame doors. No bracket needed.

- Kit 6 (180KG Magnetic Lock + U bracket): Suitable for frameless glass doors.

- Kit 7 (180KG Magnetic Lock + L bracket): Suitable for wooden and metal doors where the door is flat or the gap to the door frame is less than 3cm (viewed from indoor).

- Kit 8 (180KG Magnetic Lock + ZL bracket): Suitable for wooden, metal, and glass doors that open inwards.

- Kit 9 (Embedded 180KG Electric Magnetic Lock): Suitable for wooden, metal, and glass frame doors. No bracket needed.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Unlocking Methods
The system offers several ways to unlock the door:
- Tuya APP Remote Unlock: Open the Tuya APP, navigate to the access control interface, and hold/press the unlock icon to open the door remotely.
- Temporary Password: Generate a temporary password through the Tuya APP. These passwords are valid for 6 hours and can be used once. They can be shared via WeChat, Email, or SMS.
- RFID Card: Present a registered RFID card to the card reading area on the access controller. The system supports up to 10,000 RFID cards.
- Password: Enter a registered password on the touch keypad. The system supports up to 10,000 passwords.
- RFID Card + Password: For enhanced security, combine an RFID card swipe with a password entry.
- Door Exit Button: Press the physical exit button installed on the inside of the door to unlock and exit.
- Remote Control (Optional): If a remote control is part of your kit, press the unlock button on the remote.

5.2. Tuya APP Functions
- Add Users/Cards: Within the Tuya APP, you can easily add new passwords and RFID cards.
- View Unlock Records: The APP allows you to view a log of the latest lock opening information.
- Set Normally Open Mode: For situations requiring frequent entry and exit, you can set the system to a normally open mode via the APP.

Press the doorbell button on the access controller to activate the connected wired doorbell.
