5. Installation
The AIKE Automatic Liquid Soap Dispenser is designed for wall-mounted installation to save space. There are two primary installation methods:
5.1. Important Installation Height Considerations
To ensure proper sensor function and prevent accidental dispensing, observe the following minimum installation heights from the desktop to the sensor (located at the bottom of the soap dispenser):
- Normal Desktop: At least 25 cm (9.84 inches)
- Reflective Desktop: At least 35 cm (13.8 inches)

5.2. Installation Methods
Method 1: Wall-Drill Screw Installation
- Choose a suitable location on the wall, keeping the minimum height requirements in mind.
- Place the mounting plate against the wall and mark the drilling points.
- Drill holes at the marked points.
- Insert the expansion anchors into the drilled holes.
- Align the mounting plate with the holes and secure it using the ST4X25 screws.
- Slide the dispenser onto the mounting plate until it clicks securely into place.
- For added security, use the safety screw to fasten the dispenser to the mounting plate.
Method 2: Nail-Free Glue Installation
- Clean the wall surface thoroughly to ensure it is dry and free of dust or grease.
- Apply the nail-free glue to the back of the mounting plate in a zigzag pattern.
- Press the mounting plate firmly against the chosen wall location for a few minutes.
- Allow the glue to cure for at least 24-48 hours (refer to glue instructions for specific curing time) before mounting the dispenser.
- Once the glue is fully cured, slide the dispenser onto the mounting plate until it clicks securely into place.

6. Operation
6.1. Powering On/Off and Dispensing Volume Adjustment
- Insert Batteries: Open the battery compartment (refer to Maintenance section for details). Insert 4 AA batteries (not included), ensuring correct polarity. Close the compartment.
- Power On: Press and hold the power/adjustment button (located on the side/top of the dispenser) for a few seconds until the indicator light turns on.
- Adjust Dispensing Volume: Briefly press the power/adjustment button to cycle through the 5 dispensing levels. Each press will change the level, indicated by a light or a change in the amount dispensed during a test.

6.2. Touch-Free Dispensing
Once powered on, simply place your hand under the dispenser's nozzle. The infrared sensor will detect your hand and automatically dispense the pre-set amount of liquid soap. Remove your hand to stop dispensing.

7. Maintenance
7.1. Refilling the Dispenser
- Use the provided key to unlock the top lid.
- Open the outer lid and then the locked inner lid.
- Pour liquid soap into the wide opening, taking advantage of the 95° anti-tilt design to prevent spills. Do not overfill.
- Close the inner lid, then the outer lid, and lock it with the key.

7.2. Battery Replacement
The dispenser is powered by 4 AA batteries. When the battery is low, the indicator light may flash or dispensing performance may decrease.
- Locate the battery compartment, usually at the bottom or side of the dispenser.
- Twist the compartment cover to unlock it.
- Remove the old batteries and insert 4 new AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Twist the compartment cover back to lock it securely.

7.3. Cleaning
- Wipe the exterior of the dispenser with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Avoid submerging the dispenser in water.
- If the nozzle becomes clogged, gently clean it with a small brush or toothpick.
8. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Dispenser not working / No soap dispensed | Low or dead batteries Soap tank empty Sensor obstructed Nozzle clogged | Replace batteries Refill soap tank Ensure nothing is blocking the sensor Clean the nozzle |
| Soap dispenses too much/too little | Dispensing volume setting is incorrect | Adjust the dispensing volume using the power/adjustment button (refer to Section 6.1) |
| Indicator light not working | Batteries are low or dead Unit is off | Replace batteries Press and hold the power button to turn on |
| Accidental dispensing | Object too close to sensor Reflective surface too close below sensor | Ensure proper installation height (refer to Section 5.1) Remove objects from sensor area |
9. User Tips
- For optimal performance, use liquid soap that is not too thick. If your soap is very thick, you may dilute it with a small amount of water.
- Regularly check the soap level through the visible window to avoid running out unexpectedly.
- When installing, consider the type of surface below the dispenser. Reflective surfaces require a greater distance to prevent false activations.
- The key lock feature is useful in public or shared spaces to prevent tampering or unauthorized refilling.
10. Warranty and Support
The AIKE Automatic Liquid Soap Dispenser comes with a one-year manufacturer warranty. For any issues or support inquiries, please contact AIKE customer service through your purchase platform or the official AIKE website.
