5. Setup

5.1 Initial Charging

  1. Connect the MP3 player to a computer or a USB wall adapter using the provided USB cable.

5.2 Power On/Off

  • To Power On: Slide the power switch to the 'ON' position or press and hold the power button (if applicable).
  • To Power Off: Slide the power switch to the 'OFF' position or press and hold the power button until the device shuts down.

5.3 Language Settings

  1. From the main menu, navigate to 'Settings'.

5.4 File Transfer

  1. Connect the MP3 player to your computer using the USB cable.
  2. The device will appear as a removable disk drive on your computer.
  3. Drag and drop your music, video, photo, or e-book files into the appropriate folders on the MP3 player.

5.5 Inserting a Micro SD Card

The device supports expandable memory up to 128GB.

  1. Locate the Micro SD card slot on the side of the player.
  2. Gently insert the Micro SD card into the slot until it clicks into place.
  3. To remove, push the card inward until it pops out.

6. Operating Instructions

The RUIZU X02 features a circular control pad for navigation and function control.

6.1 Basic Navigation

  • Use the directional buttons (up, down, left, right) on the circular pad to navigate through menus and options.
  • Press the center button (Play/Pause) to confirm a selection.
  • Press the 'M' button to go back to the previous menu or access menu options within an application.

6.2 Screen Lock/Unlock

  • To Lock: Click the 'Previous Track' button (|<<) and the 'M' button at the same time.
  • To Unlock: Repeat the same action (Click the 'Previous Track' button (|<<) and the 'M' button at the same time).

6.3 Resume Playing Where Left

  • Hold the center circle button (Play/Pause) to turn off the device instead of using the physical power switch. This will allow the player to resume playback from where you left off when powered on again.

6.4 Save the Volume You Adjust

  • Hold the 'VOL' button for 3 seconds.
  • On the volume icon interface, press 'M' to increase volume or 'VOL' to lower the volume.
  • Hold the center button (Play/Pause) to save your adjusted volume setting.

6.5 Music Playback

  1. From the main menu, select 'Music'.
  2. Browse through your songs by artist, album, genre, or all songs.
  3. Select a song and press the center button to play.
  4. Use the 'Previous Track' (|<<) and 'Next Track' (>>|) buttons to skip tracks.
  5. Press 'VOL' to adjust volume.

6.6 Bluetooth Pairing

  1. From the main menu, navigate to 'Bluetooth'.
  2. Turn on Bluetooth on the MP3 player.
  3. Ensure your Bluetooth headphones or speaker are in pairing mode.
  4. The MP3 player will scan for available devices. Select your device from the list to pair.

6.7 FM Radio

  1. Connect wired earphones to the player (they act as the antenna).
  2. From the main menu, select 'FM Radio'.
  3. Use the navigation buttons to scan for stations or manually tune.
