4. Setup and Installation
4.1. Preparation
- Obtain a 2G SIM card from a local mobile operator.
- Ensure your SIM card has access to GPRS service, SMS, and voice calls.
- If the SIM card is from a main mobile operator, you typically do not need to set APN as it will be automatically connected.
4.2. SIM Card Insertion
- Carefully take out the GT06N device from its packaging.
- Locate the SIM card slot on the side of the device.
- Insert the 2G SIM card into the slot.
- Turn on the device using the power switch. Observe the LED indicators for initial status.
4.3. Wiring Diagram and Connections
Refer to the wiring diagram on the device or in the user manual for precise connections. The main connections are:
- Red Line (Device Power Cable): Connect to the positive side of the vehicle battery.
- Black Line (Device Power Cable): Connect to the negative side of the vehicle battery.
- Orange ACC Line (Vehicle): Connect the white line from the relay to the vehicle's ACC line.
- Pump Line (Vehicle): Connect the two green lines from the relay to the vehicle's pump line.
- Yellow Line (Device): Connect to Relay 86.
- SOS Line (Device): Connect to the SOS button.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Device Activation and Initial Setup
- After inserting the SIM card and connecting the power, turn on the device.
- Send SMS commands to set up the device. This usually involves setting the APN (Access Point Name) and SERVER details. For example:

5.2. Real-time Tracking and Fleet Management
The GT06N uses the TracksolidPro Advanced GPS Tracking Platform for monitoring. You can access the platform via web or mobile application.
- Web Platform: Access through eu.tracksolidpro.com, hk.tracksolidpro.com, or us.tracksolidpro.com depending on your server. Log in with your account details.
- Mobile App: Download the "TracksolidPro" app from the Apple App Store or Google Play.

5.3. Key Features and Commands
- Remote Cut-Off (Fuel/Power): Send an SMS command (e.g.,
RELAY,1#) to cut off the fuel/power supply. To restore, sendRELAY,0#. This feature is only available when the device is positioned. - SOS Emergency Calling: Press the SOS button for 3 seconds to activate the SOS alarm. The device will send an SOS SMS to preset numbers and then dial them in circles until a call is answered. The device will also upload SOS alarm data to the server.
- Audio Monitoring: Utilize the external microphone for audio monitoring.
- Ignition Detection: Provides constant, real-time ACC/ignition status.
- Geo-fence Alarm: Set up virtual boundaries; receive alerts when the vehicle enters or exits these areas.
- Over-speed Alarm: Receive alerts when the vehicle exceeds a predefined speed limit.
- Vibration Alert: Get notifications for abnormal vibrations.
- 180-Day History Playback: Review past routes and activities on the tracking platform.

6. Status Indicators (LED Lights)
The GT06N device has LED lights that indicate its operational status:
- Red Light:
- Always on: Battery is charging.
- Flickers every two seconds: Battery is fully charged.
- Green Light:
- Always on: GPRS is searching for connection.
- Flickers slowly: GSM is working normally.
- Blue Light:
- Always on: GPS is positioned.
When the device is working normally, the blue light is always on, the green light flickers slowly, and the red light flashes slowly or keeps on (depending on charging status).
7. Recommended Installation Locations
For optimal performance, the GT06N should be installed in a sheltered location without metal cover to ensure proper GPS signal reception and prevent easy detection. Suggested locations include:
- In the shelter of the decorative sheet below the front windshield.
- Around the shelter of the front dashboard.
- Below the decorative sheet of the rear windshield.
8. Troubleshooting
- Device not connecting to network: Ensure the 2G SIM card is correctly inserted and has active GPRS, SMS, and voice call services. Verify that your region still supports 2G GSM networks.
- No GPS signal: Ensure the device is installed in a location without metal obstruction that could block the GPS signal. Move the vehicle to an open area.
- Remote commands not working: Check if the device is online on the tracking platform. Ensure the SIM card has sufficient balance for SMS commands. Verify the SMS command format is correct.
- Battery not charging: Check the power cable connection to the vehicle battery. Ensure the vehicle's voltage is within the supported range (12-24V).
9. User Tips
- Network Compatibility: The GT06N is a 2G tracker. Before purchasing or using, confirm that 2G GSM networks are still active and supported by your local mobile operators. If not, consider a 4G tracker.
- SIM Card Setup: For SIM cards from major mobile operators, APN settings might be automatically configured. However, for smaller or specific carriers, you may need to manually set the APN and server details via SMS commands as outlined in the operating instructions.
- Optimal Placement: While the device is small, strategic placement is key. Avoid areas with heavy metal shielding to ensure strong GPS and GSM signals.
