1. Product Overview

The ThundeRobot ML101 is a 2.4G wireless mouse designed for comfortable and efficient use in various environments. It features an ergonomic design, high-precision optical sensor with adjustable DPI, and intelligent power-saving capabilities for extended battery life.

2. Setup Guide

2.1 Package Contents

Before you begin, ensure all items are present in the package:

  • ThundeRobot ML101 Wireless Mouse
  • 2.4G USB Receiver

2.2 Connecting the Mouse

  1. Locate the 2.4G USB receiver. It is typically stored in a compartment on the underside of the mouse.
  2. Plug the 2.4G USB receiver into an available USB port on your computer (laptop or desktop).
  3. Ensure the mouse power is switched ON. The power switch is located on the underside of the mouse.
  4. Your computer should automatically detect and install the necessary drivers. The mouse will be ready for use.

The maximum wireless receiving distance is 8-10 meters.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Button Functions

  • Left Mouse Button (A): Standard click function.
  • Right Mouse Button (B): Context menu/secondary click.
  • Mouse Wheel/Middle Button (C): Scroll up/down, click for middle button function (e.g., open link in new tab).
  • DPI Switch Button (D): Cycles through DPI settings.
  • Forward Key (E): Navigates forward in web browsers or file explorers.
  • Back Key (F): Navigates backward in web browsers or file explorers.

3.2 DPI Adjustment

The ML101 mouse offers three adjustable DPI levels to suit different tasks and preferences. Press the DPI switch button (D) to cycle between 800, 1200, and 1600 DPI.

  • 800 DPI: Ideal for web browsing and general use, offering precise control.
  • 1200 DPI: Suitable for table editing and tasks requiring a balance of speed and accuracy.
  • 1600 DPI: Best for graphics work and gaming, providing faster cursor movement.

3.3 Ergonomic Design

3.4 Intelligent Power Saving

4. Maintenance

4.1 Cleaning

  • Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the mouse surface.
  • For stubborn dirt, slightly dampen the cloth with water or a mild cleaning solution. Avoid harsh chemicals.
  • Do not allow liquids to enter the mouse body.
  • Clean the optical sensor periodically with a cotton swab to ensure optimal tracking performance.

4.2 Battery Care

As the mouse is rechargeable, ensure regular charging when the battery is low to maintain optimal performance and battery longevity. Avoid fully discharging the battery frequently.

5. Troubleshooting

5.1 Mouse Not Responding

  • Check Power: Ensure the power switch on the underside of the mouse is in the 'ON' position.
  • Check Battery: If the mouse is rechargeable, ensure it has sufficient charge. Connect it to a power source if needed.
  • Check Receiver: Ensure the 2.4G USB receiver is securely plugged into a working USB port on your computer. Try a different USB port.
  • Re-pair: Sometimes, interference can cause disconnection. Try unplugging and re-plugging the USB receiver.
  • Distance: Ensure the mouse is within the 8-10 meter operating range of the receiver.

5.2 Erratic Cursor Movement

  • Clean Sensor: Dust or debris on the optical sensor can cause erratic movement. Clean the sensor as described in the Maintenance section.
  • Surface: Ensure you are using the mouse on a suitable surface. The ML101 is designed for high-precision sensing on various surfaces including metal, paper, cloth, wood, and leather. Avoid highly reflective or uneven surfaces.
  • Interference: Other wireless devices might cause interference. Try moving the mouse closer to the receiver or away from other wireless devices.
