4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Battery

  1. Connect the USB Type-C charging cable to the walkie talkie's USB charging port.
  2. Connect the other end of the USB cable to the power adapter.
  3. Plug the power adapter into a wall outlet.
  4. The battery icon on the display will indicate charging status. A full charge typically takes a few hours.
  5. Once fully charged, disconnect the charger.

The walkie talkie features a built-in 1650mAh Li-ion battery, offering 8-12 hours of continuous use and up to 3 days of standby time. A low battery alert will notify you when charging is needed.

4.2 Power On/Off

Press and hold the Power Key (located on the top of the device) until the display lights up to power on. Repeat the process to power off.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Channel Selection

Use the Left Key (<) and Right Key (>) to navigate through the available channels. The selected channel number will be displayed on the 1.7-inch dot matrix screen.

5.2 Adjusting Volume

The volume level can be adjusted through the menu or dedicated buttons (if available, refer to display icons for visual cues). The volume level will be shown on the display.

5.3 Transmitting and Receiving

  1. To transmit, press and hold the PTT (Push-to-Talk) button. Speak clearly into the microphone. The 'transmitting' icon will appear on the display.
  2. Release the PTT button to stop transmitting and return to receive mode. The 'receiving' icon will appear when a signal is detected.
  3. Ensure all walkie talkies are on the same channel to communicate.

5.4 VOX Hands-Free Operation

VOX (Voice Operated Exchange) allows you to transmit without pressing the PTT button, by simply speaking. This feature can be activated or deactivated through the menu for convenience.

  1. Press the Menu button twice.
  2. Use the Left Key (<) or Right Key (>) to select 'VOX ON' or 'VOX OFF'.
  3. Confirm your selection.

5.5 Keyboard Lock

The keyboard lock feature prevents accidental button presses. Refer to the display icons for the keyboard lock/unlock status.

6. Maintenance

  • Keep the device dry. Avoid exposure to rain, moisture, or liquids.
  • Clean the device with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
  • Do not attempt to disassemble or modify the walkie talkie. This will void the warranty and could cause damage.
  • Store the walkie talkie in a cool, dry place when not in use.
