1. Product Overview

The REVASRI Laser Range Finder is a versatile optical instrument designed for precise distance measurement in various outdoor activities, including golf, hunting, and construction. It features advanced laser technology, multiple measurement modes, and a clear optical display to enhance accuracy and user experience.

Key Components

  • Objective Lens: The front lens through which light enters the device.
  • Eyepiece: The lens you look through to view the target. Features manual focusing.
  • Power On/Measure Button: Activates the device and initiates distance measurements.

2. Setup and Charging

Initial Charging

The REVASRI Laser Range Finder comes with a built-in rechargeable lithium battery. Before first use, ensure the device is fully charged.

  1. Locate the USB-C charging port on the device.
  2. Connect the provided USB-C cable to the rangefinder and a compatible USB power source (e.g., computer, wall adapter).
  3. The charging indicator will show the charging status. Once fully charged, disconnect the cable.

Focus Adjustment

To ensure a clear view, adjust the eyepiece focus:

  1. Look through the eyepiece.
  2. Rotate the eyepiece ring clockwise or counter-clockwise until the display and target appear sharp and clear.

3. Operating Instructions

The REVASRI Laser Range Finder offers multiple modes for different applications. Press the Power On/Measure button to activate the device and initiate measurements.

Unit Switching (M/Yard)

To switch between meters (M) and yards (Y), press and hold both the Power On/Measure button and the Mode button (or the two buttons on top, depending on the model) for 3-5 seconds.

    • Flagpole Lock with Vibration: The device vibrates to confirm when it has locked onto the flagpole, ignoring background objects.
    • Slope Compensation: Automatically calculates the elevation difference and provides an adjusted distance for uphill or downhill shots.
    • Angle Switch: Manually enable or disable the slope compensation feature as required by golf rules.
  • Data Storage Function (NK-1000): Stores measurement data for later review.

4. Maintenance

  • Cleaning Lenses: Use a soft, clean cloth specifically designed for optical lenses. Avoid abrasive materials that could scratch the lens.
  • Storage: Store the rangefinder in its protective carrying case when not in use. Keep it in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Battery Care: Recharge the battery regularly, even if not frequently used, to maintain battery health. Avoid fully discharging the battery for extended periods.
  • General Care: Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the device yourself. Refer to professional service if needed.

5. Troubleshooting

  • Device not powering on: Ensure the battery is charged. Connect to a USB power source and allow it to charge for at least 30 minutes before attempting to power on again.
  • Inaccurate readings: Ensure the lenses are clean and free from smudges. Make sure there are no obstructions between the rangefinder and the target. Check that the correct measurement mode is selected for your application.
  • Display unclear/blurry: Adjust the eyepiece focus ring until the display is sharp.
  • Unit not switching (M/Y): Ensure you are pressing and holding both required buttons simultaneously for 3-5 seconds.
