Note: The thermostat operates in full capacity in areas with an altitude of less than 2500m above sea level. For altitudes between 2500m and 4200m, the power rating of the external load should be less than or equal to 80% of the thermostat's rated power.

- Release the front cover by inserting a head screwdriver into the bottom crack.
- Insert the wires and then fix these wires with screws. Suggested wire-stripping length is 7-9mm.
- Mount the backing plate into the wall-cassette, put screws and then fix the thermostat. Ensure the thermostat is fixed without deformation. Suggested torque is 0.2~0.4N.m (2.0~4.1kgf.cm).
- Re-mount the front cover via snap-fit connection.
3.3. Wiring Diagrams
Important: All wiring should be performed by a qualified electrician to ensure safety and proper function. Disconnect power before installation.
The thermostat models are categorized by their application and current load:
- R7C.716 (16A Electric Floor Heating): Used to control heating cables, mats, or films. Includes an external floor sensor.
- R7C.703 (3A Water Underfloor Heating): Used to control valves, normally closed actuators, or normally open actuators. Does not include an external floor sensor.
- R7C.723 (3A Water/Gas Boiler Heating): Used to control gas boilers, electric boilers, or heat pumps via dry contact. Does not include an external floor sensor.

3.4. Wi-Fi Setting
To connect your thermostat to Wi-Fi:
- Press the 'Menu' button (▣▣) for 3 seconds to enter the menu page.
- Turn the knob (●) to choose "Wi-Fi setting".
- Select "Bluetooth Mode" (recommended for quick connection).
- Press the 'Confirm' button (▣▣) to confirm. The device will enter the distribution network state.
- Alternatively, you can choose "Access Point Mode" if Bluetooth mode fails.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1. User Operation
- Power On/Off: Press the 'Power' button (●) for 3 seconds.
- Temperature Setting: Rotate the handwheel (●) to change the setting temperature by 0.5°C.
- System Mode (Floor Heating): Press the 'Menu' button (▣▣) shortly to switch between manual/auto mode.
- System Mode (Fan Coil): Press the 'Menu' button (▣▣) shortly to switch between cooling/heating/ventilation.
- System Mode (Integrated): Press the 'Menu' button (▣▣) shortly to switch between cooling/heating/ventilation/floor heating/floor heating + heating.
- Enter Menu: Press the 'Menu' button (▣▣) for 3 seconds.
- Child-lock: Press the 'Menu' button (▣▣) for 3 seconds to activate child-lock.
4.2. Temperature Control Modes
- Auto Mode: The thermostat follows a weekly-circled program, allowing up to 6 heating events per day. Heating events, workdays, and temperature can be customized.
- Manual Mode: The thermostat operates based on a manually set temperature, disconnecting from the auto mode.
- Temporary Mode: The thermostat operates based on a manually set temperature temporarily, then shifts back to auto mode at the next event.
4.3. Weekly Programming (Auto-mode Setting)
To set up weekly programming:
- Under power-on status, long press the 'Menu' button (▣▣) to enter the menu page.
- Choose "Auto Mode", then select "Schedule".
- Set the period parameters (time and temperature for up to 6 events per day).
- Press the 'Menu' button (▣▣) to save and exit.
- Finally, press the 'Fan Speed' button (▣▣) to activate the timer switch function.

The thermostat's display provides various information and indicators:
- Time Display: Current time.
- Date Week: Current date and day of the week.
- Outdoor Temp.: Outdoor temperature (if networked).

Under power-on status, long press the 'Menu' button (▣▣) to enter the menu page. Choose "Engineer Mode" and enter password "123456" to access the advanced settings page. After adjusting parameters, press the 'Menu' button (▣▣) to save and exit.
Parameters that can be adjusted include ModBus Address, Sensor Calibration, Temperature Difference, Max/Min Setting Values, Anti-Freeze Protection, Temperature Unit, Sensor Mode, Floor Limited Value, Weekday Mode, Linkage Mode, Linkage Time Delay, Child-lock Type, Boot Type, Room Card settings, and Air-Condition Mode.
6. Troubleshooting
6.1. Sensor Failure
If the thermostat displays an E0 or E1 error, it indicates a sensor issue. The thermostat will remain powered off until the error is resolved.
- E0 Error: Built-in sensor is short-circuited or disconnected.
- E1 Error: Floor sensor is short-circuited or disconnected.
If you encounter these errors, please check the sensor connections and ensure they are properly installed and undamaged. If the issue persists, contact customer support.
7. User Tips
- For optimal energy saving, utilize the weekly programming feature to set different temperatures for various times of the day and week.
- Use the handwheel knob for precise temperature adjustments in 0.5°C increments.
- If you have multiple thermostats, use the Smart Life or TuyaSmart app to manage them centrally from your smartphone.
- Remember to activate the child-lock feature to prevent unintended changes to settings, especially in households with children.
