1. Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of the veromount RK1, RK2, and RK3 series 2.4G RF Desktop Rotary Panel Remote Controllers. These controllers are designed to work with Skydance single color, dual white (CCT), and RGB LED controllers, offering intuitive control over lighting parameters such as dimming, color temperature, and RGB color.

2. Product Overview

The RK series offers three distinct models, each tailored for specific lighting control needs:

• RK1 (1 Zone Dimming): For single color LED controllers, providing brightness adjustment.
• RK2 (1 Zone CCT): For dual white (CCT) LED controllers, allowing adjustment of color temperature and brightness.
• RK3 (1 Zone RGB): For RGB LED controllers, enabling control over RGB color and brightness.

4. Setup and Installation

4.1 Battery Installation

The remote control is powered by a CR2032 button battery. Before first use, ensure the protective film on the battery is removed.

4.2 Mounting the Remote

The remote is designed as a desk-mounted panel and can be fixed using two methods:

• 3M Sticker: For easy, non-permanent placement.
• Screws: For a more secure and permanent installation.

Both methods allow for easy mounting and removal as needed.

5. Operation

The RK series remote controllers feature a rotary knob for various lighting adjustments. The specific functions depend on the model (RK1, RK2, or RK3).

Knob Functions:

• RK1 Single Color Dimming Remote:
  • Push: Turn the light ON or OFF.
  • After turning ON the light:
    • Rotate: Adjust brightness (2.5 turns, 50 levels).
    • Long Push (1-6s): Continuous 256 levels brightness adjustment.
• RK2 Color Temperature Remote:
  • Push: Turn the light ON or OFF.
  • After turning ON the light:
    • Rotate: Change color temperature or brightness (2.5 turns, 50 levels).
    • Push Twice: Switch between color temperature and brightness adjustment modes.
    • Long Push (1-6s): Continuous 256 levels brightness adjustment.
• RK3 RGB Remote:
  • Push: Turn the light ON or OFF.
  • After turning ON the light:
    • Rotate: Change RGB color (3 turns, 60 colors) or brightness (2.5 turns, 50 levels).
    • Push Twice: Switch between RGB color and brightness adjustment modes.
    • Long Push (1-6s): Continuous 256 levels brightness adjustment.

6. Matching Remote Control

The remote control needs to be matched with a compatible LED controller. There are two methods for matching or deleting paired remotes:

6.1 Using the Controller's Match Key

• To Match: Short press the match key on the LED controller, then immediately push the knob on the remote. The LED indicator on the controller will flash a few times, indicating successful matching.
• To Delete All Matches: Press and hold the match key on the LED controller for 5 seconds. The LED indicator will flash a few times, confirming that all matched remotes have been deleted.

6.2 Using Power Restart

• To Match: Switch off the power to the LED controller, then switch it back on. Immediately push the knob on the remote 3 times. The light will blink 3 times, indicating successful matching.
• To Delete All Matches: Switch off the power to the LED controller, then switch it back on. Immediately push the knob on the remote 5 times. The light will blink 5 times, confirming that all matched remotes have been deleted.

7. Maintenance

7.1 Battery Replacement

When the remote distance becomes smaller or the control becomes insensitive, it is time to replace the CR2032 battery. Refer to Figure 5 for battery replacement steps.

7.2 Cleaning

Wipe the remote control with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.

8. Troubleshooting

• Remote not responding:
  • Check if the CR2032 battery is correctly installed and has sufficient power. Replace if necessary.
  • Ensure the remote is properly matched with the LED controller. Re-match if needed (refer to Section 6).
  • Verify that the LED controller is powered on and functioning correctly.
• Reduced control range:
  • Replace the CR2032 battery.
  • Ensure there are no significant physical barriers or strong interference sources between the remote and the controller.

9. Safety Information

• Read all instructions carefully before beginning installation or operation.
• When installing the battery, pay close attention to the positive and negative polarity to ensure correct insertion.
• If the remote control will not be used for a long period, remove the battery to prevent leakage and damage.
• Replace the battery when the remote distance decreases or the control becomes unresponsive.
• Handle the remote gently to prevent damage from falling.
• This product is intended for indoor and dry location use only.
