5. Installation
5.1 Door Compatibility
The A1 Pro Smart Lock is designed to be compatible with most American and European locks, including deadbolt, mortise, and latch rim locks. It is suitable for Glass, Wooden, Brass, Stainless Steel, and Steel doors.

5.2 Installation Method (Punch-free)
The A1 Pro Smart Lock features a punch-free installation method, requiring no dismantling of your existing door lock. This allows for quick and easy setup, typically within 10 minutes.
- Prepare the Door: Ensure the surface around your existing deadbolt is clean and dry.
- Attach the Lock: Simply peel the backing from the durable 3M adhesive on the back of the A1 Pro Smart Lock.
- Position and Stick: Carefully align the smart lock over your existing deadbolt knob and firmly press it onto the door.
- Secure (Optional): For permanent installation, use the provided screws and screwdriver to further secure the lock.

The USB Bluetooth Gateway is a mini smart gateway developed by Tuya. It enables Wi-Fi connectivity for your smart lock, allowing remote access and control via the Tuya Smart app.

6.1 Tuya Smart Life App Control
The Tuya Smart Life app provides full access and control over your A1 Pro Smart Lock.
- Download the App: Scan the QR code or search for "Tuya Smart" or "Smart Life" in your app store.
- Register/Login: Create an account or log in.
- Add Device: Follow the in-app instructions to add your A1 Pro Smart Lock. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone. If using the gateway, ensure it's also added and connected to Wi-Fi.
- Remote Unlock: Unlock your door from anywhere using your smartphone (requires Bluetooth Gateway for remote access).
- Manage Users: Set who has access to your lock and how. You can issue virtual keys and withdraw them at any time.
- Temporary Passwords: Create temporary access keys for guests or service providers, valid for specific dates or durations (e.g., one-time use, one-hour code).
- Operation Record: View a log of who entered and exactly when. The app informs you of virtual key operations in real-time.
- Automatic Lock Timer: Set a timer for the smart lock to automatically lock the door after a specified period.

6.2 Wireless Keypad (PT1) Operation

- Enter Code: Input your programmed access code on the keypad.

- Anti-Peeping Password: To enhance security, you can enter random digits before or after your actual code. For example, if your code is 1234, you can enter 56123478 to unlock.

The portable Smart Key provides convenient remote control.
- One Click: Press once to open the lock.
- Double Click: Press twice to unlock the door.
- Multi-Lock Control: A single Smart Key can be paired to control multiple A1 Pro Smart Locks.

6.4 Mechanical Key Access
In emergencies or if batteries are depleted, you can still unlock your door using the original mechanical key of your existing deadbolt. The A1 Pro Smart Lock does not interfere with the mechanical key function.

The A1 Pro Smart Lock uses 4 AA batteries, the Wireless Keypad uses 2 AA batteries, and the Smart Key uses a CR2032 battery. Battery endurance for both the lock and keypad is approximately 1000-1500 unlocks.

- To replace batteries, carefully open the battery compartment on the respective device.
