1. Introduction and Overview

This ANERN Hybrid Solar Inverter is a multi-function inverter/charger that combines the functionalities of an inverter, a solar charger, and a battery charger. It is designed to provide uninterruptible power support in a compact size. The comprehensive LCD display allows for user-configurable settings and easy operation via buttons, including battery charging current, AC/solar charger priority, and acceptable input voltage based on various applications.

The inverter features a Pure Sine Wave output with a power factor of 1.0, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of appliances. It includes a built-in MPPT solar charge controller with a maximum charge current of 80A and supports a wide PV input voltage range of 30-400VDC. It is compatible with various battery types, including Lead-acid, Gel, AGM, Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePo4), and other Lithium batteries. For enhanced monitoring, WIFI connectivity is available for both iOS and Android systems.

5.3 Battery Connection

The inverter supports Lead-acid, Gel, AGM, Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePo4), and Lithium batteries. Ensure the battery voltage matches the inverter's requirements (24V for 3.6KW models, 48V for 6.2KW models). The battery capacity should not be less than 100AH.

5.4 Solar Panel Connection

The inverter has a wide PV input voltage range of 30-400VDC. For optimal performance, ensure the total solar panel voltage is above 35V. The open-circuit voltage of the solar panels should be higher than 35VDC for initial startup, and the inverter can operate normally with a stable input of 30VDC thereafter.

5.5 Startup and Shutdown Sequence

Startup Sequence:

  1. First, turn on the battery switch.
  2. Start the inverter.
  3. Then, turn on the PV (solar panel), mains (utility), and load switches.

Shutdown Sequence:

  1. Turn off the switches for the load.
  2. Turn off the PV (solar panel) and mains (utility) switches.
  3. Turn off the inverter.
  4. Finally, turn off the battery switch.

A: No, this inverter model is not designed for series or parallel connection.
Q: What types of batteries can be used?
A: Lead-acid batteries, gel batteries, Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePo4), and other lithium batteries can be used. For the 3.6KW model, a 24V battery system is required. For the 6.2KW model, a 48V battery system is required. The battery capacity should not be less than 100AH.
Q: Can it be used with air conditioners, water pumps, and wind turbines?
A: It can be used with air conditioners. However, it is not suitable for use with water pumps and wind turbines.
Q: Is it possible to use PV, battery, and grid supply at the same time?
A: Yes. The default mode is PV priority. When the PV input is insufficient, the system will automatically utilize power from the battery and utility grid.
