Important Safety and Usage Notes
- The product contains tiny parts and is inedible. Please avoid accidental ingestion by children. This product is not intended for medical use.
- The microscope contains an internal battery which takes 2-3 hours to charge and can be used for 3-4 hours. A red indicator shows while charging and turns green when fully charged. A 5V/1A or 5V/2A charger (not included) is required.
- The monitor on the main unit is not shockproof. Handle with care to avoid dropping, pressing hard, or touching with sharp objects. The monitor is not waterproof; clean it with a dry and soft cloth.

Installation
Ensure all positions (A, B, C, D) are installed tightly to avoid shaking.

1. Position A (Base Assembly)
- Step 1: Rotate the black ring clockwise one or two turns.

Rotate the black ring. - Step 2: Screw the rod clockwise.

Screw the rod. - Step 3: Screw the black ring clockwise to fix the bracket tightly.

Tighten the black ring. - Step 4: Use a spanner to adjust the angle of the tube if needed.

2. Position B (Monitor Attachment)
Insert the monitor and tighten the two small screws.

3. Position C (Monitor Adjustment)
Adjust the monitor up and down, then tighten the screw to secure its position.

Quick Start Guide
- Use two USB cables to connect the microscope and the base to the power supply.
- Insert the Micro SD card into the designated slot.
- Turn on the microscope.

- Rotate the knob to adjust the stand height and object distance.
- Rotate the focus knob to zoom in and focus.
- Short press the 'M' button to switch between photo, video, and playback modes. Press the 'OK' button to save pictures or videos.

Detailed Operation
1. Charge the Microscope Correctly
Connect the microscope to power with the USB cable and an adapter (not included). The adapter should be 5V/1A or 5V/2A. The indicator is red while charging and turns green when fully charged. A fully charged battery lasts approximately 3 hours. The current battery level is displayed at the right corner of the monitor.

Connect the base to the power supply with a USB cable to provide power to the gooseneck lights. The base is rechargeable and can be used off the mains for short periods.
2. Install Anti-reflective Hood
The anti-reflective hood reduces light reflection during tasks like soldering.
- Step 1: Uninstall the protective hood.
- Step 2: Install the anti-reflective hood.

3. How to Make the LED Lights Work
There are main LED lights (around the camera) and two side LED lights (on the base). They are powered and controlled separately.

Main LED Lights
Turn the brightness knob on the right side of the monitor to adjust the brightness of the main LED lights.

Two Side Lights
- Step 1: Provide power for the two side lights. Connect an AC charger to the base to power the side lights.

- Step 2: Turn on the microscope and turn the base knob to adjust the brightness of the two side LED lights.
4. Save Pictures/Videos with Micro SD Card
You can save pictures and videos on a Micro SD card. Insert the Micro SD card into the slot on the right side of the monitor.

5. Switch Photo, Video & File Mode
The microscope has three modes: Photo, Video, and File. The default setting is Photo mode. Press the 'M' button for 2 seconds to cycle through Photo, Video, and File modes.
Capture Pictures
Under Photo mode, press the 'OK' button to capture pictures.
Record Videos
Under Video mode, press the 'OK' button to start recording. Press it again to stop recording. The duration of the recording time is displayed at the top of the screen.
6. File Playback
Under Playback mode, you can view saved pictures and videos by pressing the left or right button. Press the 'Menu' button to delete or protect files.
7. How to Reset the Microscope
Use a retrieve card pin or similar object to push the reset hole on the back of the microscope to reset the device. Resetting can reactivate the microscope and solve issues like system crashes or unresponsive buttons.
8. Connect with HDMI Devices
The microscope has an HDMI port, allowing connection to HDMI devices such as HDTVs, monitors, etc., for a larger view.

9. Connect with PC
- Connect the microscope to your PC with the USB cable.
- Turn on the microscope. The screen will show options for Mass Storage, PC Camera, and Charging mode.
- Press the 'OK' button to choose 'PC Camera' to enter PC mode.

10. Work with Windows
Ensure your PC has "Windows Camera" software installed (available on Windows/Microsoft Store or via Google search).
- Connect the microscope to the computer via USB cable and turn on the microscope.
- Press the 'OK' button to switch to PC Camera mode.
- Run "Windows Camera". The microscope's image will be displayed.
11. Work with Mac/iMac
Ensure your MacBook has "Photo Booth" software installed (available from the App Store).
- Connect the microscope to your MacBook via USB cable (an USB hub may be needed).
- Run "Photo Booth" (Finder > Applications > Photo Booth). Go to the top menu bar, select "Camera", then select the microscope device "GENERAL-UVC#2(Default)".
Please note:
- Left/Right/Menu buttons on the monitor and remote control will not work when the microscope is connected to a computer.
- Photos/videos can only be saved on your computer (not on the Micro SD card in the microscope) when connected to a computer.
- The microscope is compatible with macOS 10.6.5 and above.
12. Mass Storage
To access the contents of the Micro SD card in the microscope via your computer:
- Connect the microscope to the PC with the USB cable.
- Press the 'OK' button to choose 'Mass Storage' from the options displayed on the screen.

Troubleshooting (FAQ)
1. Why can't I turn on the microscope properly?
Ensure the cable is connected correctly and the product is powered on. If the issue persists, try resetting the microscope using a retrieve card pin in the reset hole.
2. Why can't I take pictures even if I press the "OK" button?
Check the device's mode. You cannot take photos in video or playback mode. Press the 'OK' button for 3 seconds to switch to photo mode.
3. Why can't I get clear pictures?
Ensure the LED lights are working correctly. Adjust the light to illuminate the object, adjust the object distance using the knob on the holder, and then rotate the focus controller. If images are still unclear, gently wipe the lens with a clean, dry cotton cloth or paper towel.
4. Why does the microscope restart repeatedly?
Check the power adapter and ensure you are using a high-quality 5V 2A power adapter.
5. Why does "card error" or "full memory card" message appear after inserting Micro SD card?
First, format the Micro SD card. Enter the menu, choose "SETTING", find "FORMAT", then select "OK" to confirm. If the issue persists, connect the microscope to a computer and format the Micro SD card there.
6. How to reduce image reflection of light?
Solution 1: Try turning down or off the white LED. Solution 2: Install the anti-reflective hood. Solution 3: Adjust the angle between the object and the lens to avoid reflection.
7. Why are the 2 side lights not working?
The two side lights and the main LED light are controlled separately. The side lights need to be powered by their built-in battery or an AC charger. Refer to the 'How to Make the LED Lights Work' section for details.
8. Nothing shows up when I plug this into my MacBook and use Photo Booth.
With the microscope connected and Photo Booth active, go to the top menu bar, select "Camera", then select the microscope instead of the onboard camera.
9. The microscope is stuck and will not operate by pressing any button.
Use a retrieve card pin or similar to push the reset hole on the back of the microscope to reset the device.
10. Can the microscope be connected to a larger screen for use?
Yes, the microscope has an HDMI port, allowing connection to HDMI devices such as HDTVs, monitors, etc.
11. The microscope cannot be charged.
If the microscope works but does not charge, there may be a problem with the battery. Please contact customer service.

- For Clear Images: Always ensure your LED lights are properly adjusted and the lens is clean. Fine-tune the focus and object distance for optimal clarity.
- Micro SD Card Issues: If you encounter "card error" or "full memory card" messages, always try formatting the card first through the microscope's menu settings or by connecting it to a computer.
