Troubleshooting (FAQ)

1. Why can't I turn on the microscope properly?

Ensure the cable is connected correctly and the product is powered on. If the issue persists, try resetting the microscope using a retrieve card pin in the reset hole.

2. Why can't I take pictures even if I press the "OK" button?

Check the device's mode. You cannot take photos in video or playback mode. Press the 'OK' button for 3 seconds to switch to photo mode.

3. Why can't I get clear pictures?

Ensure the LED lights are working correctly. Adjust the light to illuminate the object, adjust the object distance using the knob on the holder, and then rotate the focus controller. If images are still unclear, gently wipe the lens with a clean, dry cotton cloth or paper towel.

4. Why does the microscope restart repeatedly?

Check the power adapter and ensure you are using a high-quality 5V 2A power adapter.

5. Why does "card error" or "full memory card" message appear after inserting Micro SD card?

First, format the Micro SD card. Enter the menu, choose "SETTING", find "FORMAT", then select "OK" to confirm. If the issue persists, connect the microscope to a computer and format the Micro SD card there.

6. How to reduce image reflection of light?

Solution 1: Try turning down or off the white LED. Solution 2: Install the anti-reflective hood. Solution 3: Adjust the angle between the object and the lens to avoid reflection.

7. Why are the 2 side lights not working?

The two side lights and the main LED light are controlled separately. The side lights need to be powered by their built-in battery or an AC charger. Refer to the 'How to Make the LED Lights Work' section for details.

8. Nothing shows up when I plug this into my MacBook and use Photo Booth.

With the microscope connected and Photo Booth active, go to the top menu bar, select "Camera", then select the microscope instead of the onboard camera.

9. The microscope is stuck and will not operate by pressing any button.

Use a retrieve card pin or similar to push the reset hole on the back of the microscope to reset the device.

10. Can the microscope be connected to a larger screen for use?

Yes, the microscope has an HDMI port, allowing connection to HDMI devices such as HDTVs, monitors, etc.

11. The microscope cannot be charged.

If the microscope works but does not charge, there may be a problem with the battery. Please contact customer service.

User Tips

  • For Clear Images: Always ensure your LED lights are properly adjusted and the lens is clean. Fine-tune the focus and object distance for optimal clarity.
  • Micro SD Card Issues: If you encounter "card error" or "full memory card" messages, always try formatting the card first through the microscope's menu settings or by connecting it to a computer.
