3. Setup Guide
3.1. Unboxing and Package Contents
Carefully unpack all components from the box. Verify that all items listed below are present:

3.2. Assembly
- Place the LP4 Laser Host on a stable, flat surface.
- Connect the Electric Stand Cable to the designated ports on the laser host and the electric stand.
- Connect the AC Cord to the Power Adapter, and then plug the Power Adapter into the laser host. Finally, plug the AC Cord into a suitable power outlet.
- (Optional) If using the Slide Extension Accessory, attach it to the base of the LP4 Laser Host according to its specific instructions.
- (Optional) If using the Rotary Extension Accessory, ensure it is securely mounted and connected as per its instructions.
3.3. Software Installation
The LaserPecker 4 is compatible with LaserPecker Design Space (LDS) and LightBurn software.
- LaserPecker Design Space: Download the official app for iOS, Android, Mac, or Windows from the LaserPecker website. This software supports JPG/PNG/BMP/SVG/DWG/DXF/G-Code file formats.
- LightBurn: For advanced users, LightBurn is a mature engraving software compatible with the LP4.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1. Power On and Connection
- Ensure the machine is properly assembled and connected to power.
- Press the power button to turn on the LP4. The Smart LED Touch Screen will illuminate.
- Open the LaserPecker Design Space app or LightBurn software on your device and connect to the LP4 via Bluetooth or USB.
4.2. Material Preparation
Place your material on the engraving platform. Use the provided alignment fixtures to secure smaller or irregularly shaped items.
4.3. Focusing and Preview
The LP4 features a Dual Red Light Focusing technology for quick and accurate focus.
- Place the material to be engraved under the laser head.
- The machine will automatically adjust focus using its Smart Focal Correction algorithm. You can also manually adjust the height if needed.
- Use the Outline Frame & Contour Preview Modes in the software to project the engraving area onto your material, ensuring correct placement.

4.4. Selecting Laser Source
The LP4 allows you to switch between the 10W 450nm blue diode laser and the 2W 1064nm infrared laser depending on your material.
- 10W 450nm Blue Diode Laser: Ideal for engraving and cutting materials like wood, bamboo, paper, leather, drapery, plastic, acrylic, fruit, and food. It can cut thin pieces of wood and non-white paper, and leather less than 5mm thick.
- 2W 1064nm Infrared Laser: Best for engraving most metals (stainless steel, aluminum alloy, gold, silver, titanium, brass, iron) and colored plastics.
You can switch the laser source via the Smart LED Touch Screen with a simple swipe or through the software interface.

4.5. Engraving Process
- Design It: Import or create your custom artwork in the LaserPecker Design Space app or LightBurn.
- Laser It: Preview the design on your material and initiate the engraving process. Monitor the work progress in real-time via the touch screen or app.

4.6. Advanced Engraving Modes
- Batch Engraving: Utilize the Slide Extension accessory and assisted positioning tools for efficient batch processing of multiple items.
- Rotary Engraving: Attach the Rotary Extension accessory to engrave cylindrical, spherical, conical, annular, or other irregular shapes with diameters from 3mm to 200mm.

5. Maintenance
