Earmuff Installation:

To ensure optimal fit and sound quality, install the earmuffs correctly:

  1. Pick up the earmuff corresponding to the earphone L/R.
  2. Align the earmuff tip with the earphone protrusion.
  3. Carefully push the earmuff onto the earphone until it is securely in place.

First Use & Charging:

Before first use, ensure the earphones are ready for charging:

  1. Please tear off the insulation film from the charging contacts of the headset.
  2. Place the earphones into the charging case, ensuring they are in the correct left and right positions.
  3. When the earphones show a steady red light, they are in the charging state.

Operating Instructions

Power On/Off:

  • Power On: Long press the touch button for 3 seconds. The green light will illuminate for 1 second, indicating the headset is powered on.
  • Power Off: Long press the touch button for 5 seconds. The red light will illuminate for 1 second, indicating the headset is powered off.

Pairing Connection:

  1. Take out the headset from the charging case. The headset will automatically turn on and team up.
  2. The traffic lights on the earphones will flash alternately to enter the pairing state.
  3. Open your phone's Bluetooth settings.
  4. Search for the headset pairing name "BoneBuds X1" and click on it to connect.
  5. You will hear "Connected" when pairing is successful.
  6. If the headset is not connected within 5 minutes, it will automatically shut down.

Toggle Language (Chinese/English):

  • In the TWS pairing state, double-click one of the earphones to switch the language.

Phone Operation (Calls):

  • Answer a Call: Click the MFB (Multi-Function Button) on either earphone.
  • Hang Up the Phone: Click the MFB button to hang up the call.
  • Reject a Call: Press and hold the MFB button for 2 seconds to reject the call.

Music Operation:

  • Play/Pause: In the music state, press the touch button to play or pause the music.
  • Previous Song: Double-click the left ear touch button.
  • Next Song: Double-click the right ear touch button.

Voice Assistant:

  • Press and hold the touch key for 2 seconds to release and activate the voice assistant (e.g., Siri, Google Assistant).

Maintenance

Water Resistance:

The Dacom Bonebuds X1 are rated IP55 water-resistant, making them suitable for sports and activities where you might encounter sweat or light splashes. However, they are not designed for submersion in water.

Cleaning:

To maintain the earphones, wipe them with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.

Troubleshooting

  • Earphones not pairing with each other: Ensure both earphones are fully charged and taken out of the case simultaneously. If issues persist, try placing them back in the case and repeating the pairing connection steps.
  • Earphones not connecting to device: Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your device and the earphones are in pairing mode (alternating flashing lights). Forget the device from your phone's Bluetooth list and try pairing again.
  • No sound: Check the volume levels on both the earphones and your connected device. Ensure the earphones are properly paired and connected.
  • Charging issues: Verify that the insulation film has been removed from the charging contacts. Ensure the charging cable and case are functioning correctly.
