Setup Guide
- Install Batteries:
- Open the battery compartment on the back of both the receiver (main unit) and the remote sensor.
- Insert the AAA batteries (included) into both units, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartments securely.
- Pairing the Units:
- Once batteries are installed, the receiver and sensor should automatically pair. The outdoor temperature will display on the receiver.
- If pairing is not successful, press and hold the 'CHANNEL/SYNC' button on the remote sensor for 3 seconds. Then, press the 'CHANNEL/SYNC' button on the receiver to initiate pairing.
- Placement of the Remote Sensor:
- Place the remote sensor outdoors in a location that is protected from direct sunlight and rain for accurate readings.
- Ensure the sensor is within the 150M (500FT) wireless range of the receiver. Obstacles like thick walls or metal structures can reduce the range.
- Placement of the Receiver:
- The receiver can be placed on a table using its durable stand, mounted on a wall using the hanging hole, or attached to a metallic surface with its strong magnet.
Operating Instructions
- Power On/Off: The units power on automatically after battery installation. There is no manual power button.
- Temperature Display Unit (°C/°F):
- On the receiver, press the '°C/°F' button once to switch the temperature display between Celsius and Fahrenheit.
- Channel Selection (for multiple sensors):
- If you have multiple remote sensors, press the 'CHANNEL/SYNC' button on the receiver to cycle through the channels (CH1, CH2, CH3).
- The receiver will display the temperature from the selected channel.
- Reading Temperatures:
- The 'IN' display shows the indoor temperature measured by the receiver.
- The 'OUT' display shows the outdoor temperature from the currently selected remote sensor channel.
- Low Battery Indication:
- A low battery icon will appear on the display when the batteries in either the receiver or the remote sensor need to be replaced.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the units with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Battery Replacement: Replace batteries promptly when the low battery indicator appears to ensure continuous and accurate readings.
- Storage: If storing the device for an extended period, remove the batteries from both units to prevent leakage. Store in a dry, cool place.
Troubleshooting
- No outdoor temperature reading or '---' displayed:
- Ensure batteries are correctly installed in both the receiver and the remote sensor.
- Check if the remote sensor is within the wireless range (150M/500FT) of the receiver.
- Relocate the remote sensor or receiver to reduce interference from electronic devices or large metal objects.
- Try re-pairing the units by pressing the 'CHANNEL/SYNC' button on the sensor for 3 seconds, then pressing the 'CHANNEL/SYNC' button on the receiver.
- Inaccurate temperature readings:
- Ensure the remote sensor is not in direct sunlight or exposed to extreme weather conditions.
- Verify that the sensor is placed in a well-ventilated area.
- Allow both units to stabilize for 15-30 minutes after setup, as initial readings might fluctuate.

User Tips
- For optimal wireless performance, ensure a clear line of sight between the receiver and the remote sensor. Avoid placing them near large metal objects or strong electromagnetic fields.
- When using multiple sensors, label them (e.g., CH1, CH2, CH3) to easily identify which reading corresponds to which location.
- Consider placing the outdoor sensor in a shaded, well-ventilated area to prevent direct sunlight from artificially inflating temperature readings.
