3. Operating Instructions
3.1 Scanning Modes
The scanner supports two primary scanning modes:
- Automatic Scanning Mode (Continuous Mode): The scanner continuously emits a scan beam, allowing for hands-free operation. To activate, scan the "Continuous Mode" barcode provided in the full manual.
- Manual Scanning Mode (Key Trigger Mode): The scan beam is activated only when the trigger button is pressed. This is the default mode. To revert to this mode, scan the "Restore Factory Settings" barcode.

3.2 Data Upload Modes (for wireless models)
Wireless models offer two ways to upload scanned data:
- Instant Upload Mode: Barcodes are synchronously uploaded to your computer as they are scanned.
- Storage Mode: Scanned barcodes are stored in the scanner's internal memory (256 KB, capable of storing over 2600 codes) and can be uploaded to the device when needed.

5. Maintenance
- Keep the scanner clean. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Protect the scanning window from scratches or damage.
- Store the scanner in a cool, dry place when not in use.
- Ensure the USB cable is not bent or crimped excessively to prevent damage.
- For wireless models, ensure the 2.4G receiver is securely plugged in and protected from physical damage.
6. Troubleshooting
- Scanner not connecting:
- For wired connection, ensure the USB cable is firmly connected to both the scanner and the computer.
- For 2.4G wireless, ensure the mini USB receiver is plugged in and the scanner is powered on.
- For Bluetooth, ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your host device and the scanner is paired correctly. Try re-pairing if necessary.
- Scanner not reading barcodes:
- Ensure the barcode is clean, undamaged, and within the scanner's optimal reading range (10-800 mm).
- Check if the scanning mode is set correctly (manual trigger or continuous).
- Verify that the barcode symbology is supported by the scanner.
- If scanning from a screen, ensure the screen brightness is adequate and there's no glare.
- No data transmitted to computer (wireless models):
- Check if the scanner is in "Instant Upload Mode" or "Storage Mode". If in Storage Mode, you need to manually upload the data.
- Ensure the wireless connection (2.4G or Bluetooth) is active and stable.
- Battery issues:
- Charge the scanner fully using the provided USB cable.
- If the battery life is significantly shorter than expected, contact support.
