  6. Press the Key button again to confirm. The Red LED will light up for 3 seconds, then the Blue LED will turn on, indicating your new PIN has been successfully changed.

Formatting the Drive

The default file system is FAT32. If you need to copy large files (e.g., a single file larger than 4GB), it is recommended to format the USB drive to exFAT. This can be done through your computer's operating system after unlocking the drive.

5. Maintenance

Battery Charging

The device has standby power consumption due to its built-in lithium-ion polymer battery. If the device is stored for an extended period without use, the battery may lose power, and the LED indicators might not light up when pressing the unlock button. In such cases, connect the device to a PC to recharge it. A full charge typically takes 1-2 hours. The disk can be used normally during charging.

Data Backup

The customer is solely responsible for the security and backup of their data at all times. The manufacturer accepts no liability for any loss of data.

6. Troubleshooting

Incorrect PIN Attempts and Data Wipe

  • If you enter an incorrect PIN 7 times consecutively, the Red & Blue LEDs will blink.
  • After 10 consecutive incorrect PIN inputs, the flash drive will automatically reset to factory settings. All data will be erased completely, and the PIN will be re-initialized to the default 1122334.
  • To reactivate the flash drive after a data wipe, press the power button for 3 seconds, unlock it using the initial PIN (1122334), connect it to a PC, and then format the flash drive.

Forgotten PIN

If you forget your PIN, there is no way to access the drive. The data will be erased completely after a factory reset (triggered by 10 incorrect PIN attempts). The manufacturer cannot help you recover the password or data.

No LED Indication

If there is no LED indication when you press the unlock button, the built-in battery may be depleted. Connect the USB drive to a PC to recharge it. A full charge takes approximately 1-2 hours.

Cannot Copy Large Files (over 4GB)

The default file system for the key-encrypted USB flash drive is FAT32, which has a 4GB file size limit. To copy single files larger than 4GB, it is recommended to format the USB flash drive to exFAT.

8. User Tips

  • PIN Security: Always remember to save your PIN in a safe and secure place. If lost or forgotten, there is no recovery method, and your data will be erased.
  • Strong PIN: When setting a new PIN, choose a combination between 6-15 digits. Avoid easily guessable sequences like "123456" or repeating digits like "888888".
  • Data Backup: Regularly back up important data from your encrypted USB drive to another secure location. This is especially crucial if you frequently enter incorrect passwords, as repeated failed attempts will lead to a data wipe.
  • Large File Transfer: For optimal performance when transferring single files larger than 4GB, format the USB drive to exFAT.
  • Battery Life: If the device is unresponsive or LEDs do not light up, connect it to a computer to charge its internal battery.
