4. Setup and Installation
4.1 Pre-Installation Check
Before proceeding with the installation, ensure compatibility with your vehicle:
- Verify that your car model and year (Volkswagen Tiguan 2007-2016) match the product's compatibility.

4.2 Physical Installation
The installation process is designed to be plug-and-play for most users. However, some models may require a slight adjustment to the back cover of the unit.

- If your model requires it, remove the 4 screws securing the back cover.
- Carefully take out the connecting wire and extend it to allow for movement.
- Move the back cover to the desired position (top or bottom) and re-secure it with the 4 screws.

5.10 External Device Connection

Connect an optional USB ADAS DVR (Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems Digital Video Recorder). The ADAS DVR features built-in assistive driving technologies such as Lane Departure Warning System (LDWS), Forward Collision Warning System (FCWS), and records driving footage to a high-quality TF memory card.
