Maintenance
- Keep the device clean and free from dust and moisture.
- Avoid exposing the device to extreme temperatures or direct sunlight for prolonged periods.
- Do not attempt to open or modify the device, as this will void the warranty.
- Ensure the OBD-II port connection is secure to prevent accidental disconnection.
- The device recharges automatically from the OBD-II port when the vehicle is running. No external charging is typically required unless the vehicle is off for extended periods and the internal battery is depleted.
Troubleshooting
- Device not tracking: Ensure the 2G Nano-SIM card is correctly installed, active, and has a valid data plan. Verify that your region has 2G network coverage.
- No GPS signal: Ensure the vehicle is in an open area with clear sky view. If indoors or in dense urban areas, LBS positioning will be used, which may be less precise.
- Device not powering on: Check if the device is securely plugged into the OBD-II port. Ensure the vehicle's ignition is on or the vehicle is running.
- Inaccurate location: This can occur in areas with poor GPS signal (e.g., underground parking, dense buildings). The device will switch to LBS, which has lower accuracy.
- Alarms not received: Check your app notification settings and ensure the device has a stable network connection.
Important Note: The OB22 is a 2G GPS tracker. If your country no longer supports 2G networks, this device will not function correctly. Please verify 2G network availability in your area before use.
