It uses Zigbee 3.0 protocol for quick pairing and features a fire-proof and flame-retardant shell for safety. AES-128 encryption ensures data privacy. This module can also act as a Zigbee router to stabilize connections in multi-device smart home setups.

  1. After installation, power on the device and confirm that the device's network indicator is flashing. If the device network indicator is not flashing, you can press and hold any manual switch for 8 seconds to reset the device.
  2. Open your Ewelink or Tuya Smart Life app.
  3. Navigate to the Zigbee gateway card (if applicable) and click "Add subdevice" or "Add Device".
  4. Wait for approximately 1 minute until the device is found.
  5. Once found, click "Done" or "Next" to complete the pairing.
  6. After successful addition, return to the main interface of the app. You should see the newly added device.
  7. When the device's network indicator light is on, remote control can be performed via the app.

7. Troubleshooting

  • Device not found during pairing: Ensure the device is powered on and its network indicator is flashing. If the indicator is not flashing, press and hold any manual switch on the module for 8 seconds to reset it to pairing mode.
  • Remote control not responding: Check if the device's network indicator light is on. Verify that the 433MHz remote control batteries (2x CR2016) are correctly installed and not depleted. Replace batteries if necessary.
  • Intermittent connection: Ensure your Zigbee gateway is centrally located and not obstructed. The module can act as a Zigbee router to strengthen the network.

8. Maintenance

  • Keep the device clean and dry. Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning.
  • Avoid exposing the device to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, or high humidity.
