6.2 System Care
- Cleaning: Periodically clean camera lenses and the DVR's ventilation openings to prevent dust buildup and ensure proper operation.
- Environmental Conditions: Ensure the DVR is operated within the specified temperature (0°C - +55°C) and humidity (10% - 90% RH) ranges. Cameras are IP65 weatherproof but should be installed in locations that minimize direct exposure to extreme weather.
7. Troubleshooting
- No Video Display: Check all BNC, HDMI, and VGA cable connections. Ensure the DVR and cameras are powered on. Verify the monitor input source.
- No Recording: Check if a hard drive is installed and initialized. Verify recording schedules and motion detection settings. Ensure sufficient HDD capacity.
- Remote Access Issues: Confirm the DVR has a stable internet connection. Check network settings on the DVR and your router. Ensure the mobile app or VMS client is correctly configured with the DVR's ID.
- False Motion Alarms: Adjust the sensitivity of motion detection. Define specific motion detection zones to exclude areas with frequent non-human movement (e.g., trees swaying, traffic).
- Poor Night Vision: Ensure the camera lens is clean. Check for obstructions in the camera's field of view that might reflect IR light.
