3. Attaching the Anti-loss Chain and Belt Bag
For secure carrying and to prevent accidental loss, utilize the anti-loss chain and belt bag.
- Attach one end of the anti-loss chain to the detector and the other end to your belt or the belt bag.
- Place the detector in the belt bag for easy access and protection during transport.
Operating Instructions
1. Power On/Off
Press and hold the power button located on the side of the detector to turn it on or off. The LED light will illuminate upon startup.
2. Detection
The GT110-plus offers 360-degree scanning capability and a pinpointing tip for precise target location.
- Sweep the detector over the area you wish to scan.
- When a metal object is detected, the device will emit both audible and vibrating alarms. The intensity of these alarms will increase as the detector gets closer to the target.
- Use the pinpointing tip for accurate localization of the detected object.

6. Anti-loss Alert and Auto-off
The device includes an anti-loss alert feature to help prevent misplacement and an auto-off function to conserve battery life when not in use.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: After use, especially in wet or dirty conditions, rinse the detector with fresh water. Ensure the charging port cover is securely closed before rinsing. Wipe dry with a soft cloth.
- Protective Sleeve: Regularly inspect the wear-resistant protective sleeve for damage. Replace it if it becomes excessively worn to maintain optimal protection for the detector rod.
- Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid completely draining the battery frequently. Charge the device regularly and store it with a partial charge if not used for extended periods.
- Storage: Store the metal detector in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
Troubleshooting
- No Power: Ensure the battery is fully charged. Connect the device to a power source using the USB cable and check if the charging indicator is active.
- No Detection/Weak Signal:
- Check the sensitivity level and adjust it to a higher setting if necessary.
- Ensure the detector is properly swept over the target area.
- Be aware that highly mineralized ground can affect detection depth and sensitivity.
- False Alarms:
- Reduce the sensitivity level.
- Ensure no other electronic devices are causing interference nearby.
- LED Light Not Working: Check if the device is powered on. If the issue persists after charging and powering on, contact support.

User Tips
- Optimize Sensitivity: Adjust the sensitivity setting based on the environment. Use lower sensitivity in highly mineralized soil or areas with a lot of metallic debris to reduce false signals. Increase sensitivity in clear areas for deeper detection.
- Maximize Battery Life: Utilize the auto-off feature to conserve battery when not actively detecting. For prolonged use, consider carrying a portable power bank for on-the-go charging.
- Effective Pinpointing: Once a target is detected, slow down your sweep and use the pinpointing tip in a cross-hatch pattern to accurately locate the object before digging.
- Night Operation: The built-in LED light is useful for low-light conditions. Remember to turn it off when not needed to save battery.
- Water Use: While the device is waterproof, ensure the charging port cover is sealed tightly before submerging it in water. Always rinse with fresh water after use in saltwater to prevent corrosion.
