4. Maintenance

4.1 Cleaning

Wipe the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Keep the pressure ports free from dust and debris.

4.2 Battery Replacement

When the low battery indicator appears on the display, replace the two AAA batteries promptly to ensure accurate readings and continuous operation. Refer to section 2.2 for battery installation steps.

4.3 Storage

When not in use for extended periods, remove the batteries to prevent leakage. Store the device in its carrying bag in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

5. Troubleshooting

5.1 Over-range Indication

  • If the display shows ERR1 or ERR2, it indicates that the measured pressure is outside the device's specified range.
  • Reduce the applied pressure or ensure the pressure source is within the acceptable limits.

5.2 No Display/Device Not Turning On

  • Check if the batteries are correctly installed and have sufficient charge. Replace them if necessary.
  • Ensure the power button is pressed firmly.

5.3 Inaccurate Readings

  • Ensure the pressure connections are secure and free of leaks.
  • Verify that the correct pressure unit is selected.
  • Perform a zero-out calibration if available (refer to the main functions image).
  • Check for any physical damage to the device or tubes.
