5. Installation and Setup
Important: All electrical installations must be carried out by a qualified professional and in accordance with local wiring regulations. Ensure the main power supply is switched off before commencing installation.
5.1 Terminology
- Gang: Refers to the number of buttons or modules on a switch/socket. For example, "1 Gang" means 1 button/module.
- 1 Way Switch: A single switch controlling one lamp or circuit.
- 2 Way Switch: Two switches controlling one lamp or circuit together (e.g., controlling a light from two different locations).
- Intermediate Switch: Used in conjunction with two 2-way switches to control a light from three or more locations.

5.2 General Installation Steps (Switches and Sockets)
- Prepare the Wall Box: Ensure you have a compatible EU Round or EU Square electrical box installed in the wall. (Note: The electrical box is sold separately).
- Disassemble the Unit:
- Carefully take off the button panel (for switches) or the socket cover.
- Remove the glass frame from the main unit.
- Connect Wiring: Connect the electrical wires to the appropriate terminals on the back of the switch/socket module. Refer to the detailed wiring diagrams below for specific connections.
- Secure the Module:
- Place the module into the wall box.
- Use screws to fix the module securely. Alternatively, drive the screws in to spread the claws and fix the product firmly within the wall box.
- Reassemble: Cover the module with the glass frame and then attach the button panel/socket cover.
- Restore Power: Once installation is complete and all components are securely in place, restore power at the circuit breaker.

For specific wiring configurations (e.g., Bell switch, Dimmer, Fan speed controller, TV socket), please refer to Figure 11.
6. Operation
Once installed and power is restored, your Wallpad electrical outlet is ready for use.
- Standard Sockets: Insert EU standard plugs into the socket. The child protection door will open when a plug is inserted correctly.
- USB/Type-C Ports: Connect compatible USB or Type-C cables to charge your devices.
- Switches: Press the switch buttons to toggle connected lights or appliances on/off.
7. Maintenance
- Cleaning: The tempered glass panel can be easily cleaned with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals that may damage the surface.
- Inspection: Periodically check the socket and switch for any signs of damage, loose connections, or overheating. If any issues are observed, disconnect power and consult a qualified electrician.
- Durability: The product is designed for long-term use with high-quality components. The socket's "V" design allows for automatic repairing of copper parts, ensuring good performance even after 10,000 uses. The earth pole's "C" structure maintains strength and elasticity after repeated swapping.

8. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your Wallpad electrical outlet, please refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- No Power to Socket/Switch:
- Check if the main power supply is on at the circuit breaker.
- Verify that the wiring connections are secure and correct according to the installation diagrams.
- Ensure the module is properly seated in the wall box.
- USB/Type-C Ports Not Charging:
- Confirm that the device being charged is compatible and the cable is functioning correctly.
- Check if the socket itself has power.
- Loose Fit in Wall Box:
- Ensure the claws or screws are fully tightened to secure the module.
- Verify that the wall box is the correct size and type (EU Round or EU Square).
If the problem persists after checking these points, please contact a qualified electrician for further assistance.
9. User Tips
- Modular Customization: Take advantage of the modular design to create custom configurations. You can mix and match different types of switches, standard sockets, USB sockets, and Type-C sockets within a single frame.
- Box Compatibility: Remember that the wall box is sold separately. Ensure you purchase an EU Round or EU Square box that perfectly fits the dimensions of your chosen Wallpad frame.
- Professional Installation: For safety and optimal performance, especially with complex wiring (e.g., 2-way or intermediate switches), consider professional installation.
