5. Setup and Initial Use
5.1 Charging the Device
Before first use, fully charge both the remote transmitter and the receiver collar for at least 2 hours. Use a USB charger with an input of 100-240V ~ 50-60Hz and an output of 5V 1000mA (or 300mA/500mA).
- Remote Transmitter: Connect the charging cable to the charging port. The battery icon will flash during charging and become solid when fully charged.
- Receiver: Remove the rubber cover, connect the receiver to a charger. The red indicator light will flash slowly when charging and remain on when fully charged.
5.2 Turning On/Off and Checking Power
- Remote Transmitter: Press the power button to turn on/off.
- Receiver: Short press the power button once to turn on (one beep). Short press once again for a long beep to turn off.
- Check Receiver Power: When the receiver is on, quickly press the power button twice. The number of beeps indicates the power level: 5 beeps (80-100%), 4 beeps (60-80%), 3 beeps (40-60%), 2 beeps (20-40%), 1 beep (1-20%).
5.3 Pairing the Remote and Receiver
- Turn on the remote transmitter. Press the CH button to select a signal channel (1, 2, or 3).
- Long press the receiver's power button for 2 seconds. The indicator light will flash.
- While the receiver's indicator light is flashing, press one of the function buttons (Beep, Vibration, or Static Shock) on the remote transmitter to pair.
- If pairing is unsuccessful within 10 seconds, repeat the process.
5.4 Wearing the Receiver Collar
Correct placement of the collar is crucial for effective and safe training.
- The receiver should be placed on the side of the dog's neck.
- The contact points must directly touch the dog's skin. If your dog has thick hair, use the longer contact points.
- Maintain a finger's distance between the receiver collar and the dog's neck. It should not be too loose, as this can reduce the effectiveness of static shock.
- The extra part of the strap can be trimmed or secured.
- Avoid leaving the collar on the dog for more than 18 hours per day. Reposition the collar every 1-2 hours to prevent excessive pressure.
- The charging rubber cap must be securely covered when the dog is near water to prevent damage to the receiver.

6. Operation
6.1 Remote Transmitter Buttons

- Signal Channel Button (CH): Press to select channel 1, 2, or 3 for dog training.
- Power Button/Keylock: Press to turn the remote transmitter on and off.
- Static Shock Button: Press to deliver a mild static shock.
- Vibration Button: Press to activate vibration.
- Tone Button: Press to activate a beep sound. (Tone function is not adjustable).
- LED Light Button: Activates the flashlight on the remote.
- +/- Buttons: Use to adjust the vibration and static shock levels (1-100 levels).

6.2 Automatic Anti-Bark Function
The automatic anti-barking function is off by default and needs to be activated manually.
- Turn On: Press the power button on the remote transmitter for 3 seconds. You will hear one 'beep' from the receiver, indicating the function is active.
- Turn Off: Press the power button on the remote transmitter for 3 seconds again. You will hear two 'beeps' from the receiver, indicating the function is off.
6.3 Automatic Bark Mode Sensitivity Adjustment
To adjust sensitivity, ensure the receiver is powered on. Quickly press the receiver power button 3 times. The receiver will emit beeps, and the number of beeps indicates the sensitivity level:
- Level 1: 1 beep
- Level 2: 2 beeps
- Level 3: 3 beeps
- Level 4: 4 beeps
- Level 5: 5 beeps
Higher sensitivity means the receiver is more easily activated. Start with Level 3 and adjust as needed.
6.4 How the Automatic Anti-Bark Collar Works
The collar uses a progressive stimulation technique:
- Sound
- Sound + Vibration (weak)
- Sound + Vibration (medium)
- Sound + Vibration (strong)
- Sound + Vibration (strong) + Static (weak)
- Sound + Vibration (strong) + Static (medium)
- Sound + Vibration (strong) + Static (strong)
This progressive method is designed to be humane and effective.
6.5 Self-Protection Function of Anti-Bark Collar
- If the device activates 7 times continuously, it will enter a 60-second self-protection mode (fast flashing indicator light) before returning to its initial state.
- If the dog stops barking for 30 seconds, the device will reset to its initial state.
7. Maintenance
- Regularly examine the tightness of the receiver and check for any external damage.
- Clean the screw caps with alcohol weekly.
- Examine your dog's neck and clean it weekly.
- To maintain battery life, charge the rechargeable battery every 2 months if not used often.
8. Troubleshooting and FAQ
Common Issues and Solutions
- Collar not working or dog not responding:
- Ensure both remote and receiver have sufficient power.
- Check if the receiver collar is turned on.
- Verify the signal channel on the remote is correctly configured.
- Try pairing the remote and receiver again.
- Remove the receiver collar and test all three functions (beep, vibration, static shock) to ensure they work properly.
- Ensure the receiver collar is properly worn and not loose.
- Trim your dog's hair where the contact points touch the neck.
- Testing static shock function manually: If you test the receiver collar by hand or leg, ensure you touch both contact points simultaneously. Touching only one will not work.
- Dog's neck becomes red and irritated: Discontinue use for a few days. If the condition persists beyond 48 hours, consult a veterinarian. Monitor the skin condition closely.
Frequently Asked Questions
- Q: How old must my dog be to use the training collar?
A: Do not use on puppies younger than 6 months. - Q: Can I use this collar with multiple dogs?
A: Yes, you can add one or two additional receiver collars to control up to three dogs, as the remote transmitter supports three channels. Remember the signal channel chosen for each receiver. - Q: What are the proper levels of static shock?
A: Start from the lowest level and gradually increase until you find the best suitable level for your dog. Excessive stimulation can cause strong responses. - Q: What is the effective range of the collar?
A: Without obstacles, the effective distance can be up to 1000 meters (3300ft). However, factors like terrain, obstacles, and other wireless devices can affect the actual range. - Q: Should my dog continue wearing the receiver after training?
A: Yes, you may need to reinforce your dog's memory with the receiver from time to time. - Q: How long can I leave the receiver on my dog?
A: The receiver is not designed for constant wear. We recommend wearing the collar for less than 18 hours per day. - Q: How long should training sessions be?
A: Training sessions should be positive and short, ideally about 10-15 minutes per session.
9. User Tips
- Consistency is Key: If your dog doesn't respond immediately, don't give up. Try working on the training for a few more times before increasing stimulation.
- Positive Reinforcement: Always reward your dog with praise or treats when they respond correctly to a command. This helps them associate the stimulation with their behavior.
- Avoid Over-Correction: Do not give a command if you are unable to enforce it. This helps your dog make the mental connection between the correction and their behavior.
- Use Anti-Shock Pads: The anti-shock pads can prevent skin abrasion and insulate from electricity, especially when static shock is not needed.
