4. Setup
4.1 Reset to Factory State
To reset the keybox to its factory default settings:
- Open the key box by taking off the screw with a screwdriver and opening the battery box cover.
- Long press the reset button for 2 seconds.
- You will hear a sound tip: “Please enter the initialization password.”
- Press 000# to finish the reset.
- The factory state password is 123456.

4.2 Installation
The keybox can be installed in two ways: wall-mounted or hung with a cylindrical lock.
4.2.1 Wall Mount Installation
- Use the keybox as a template to mark and drill 3 holes on the wall.
- Punch the plastic expansion plugs into the drilled holes.
- Fix the key box to the wall using screws.
- Insert 4 AAA batteries into the battery compartment and test the lock.

4.2.2 Hanging with Cylindrical Lock
- Press the button located inside the keybox to release and take off the shackle (hook).
- Insert the shackle into the hole on the top of the keybox.
- Fasten the keybox with your cylindrical lock.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Tuya APP Settings
To use the smart features of your keybox, you need to download and configure the Tuya Smart or Smart Life application.
5.1.1 Download and Register the APP
Download the Tuya Smart or Smart Life app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Alternatively, you can scan the QR codes below to download the app directly.

Register an account using your email or mobile number. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the registration and set your password.
5.1.2 Intelligent Configuration (Pairing)
Once registered, run the Tuya Smart APP and follow these steps to add your keybox:
- In the app, navigate to the "Security & Sensors" category.
- Choose "Lock (Bluetooth)".
- Activate the keybox keypad.
- The app will search for and find the lock.
- Click "Done" to complete the pairing process.
5.2 Function Description (App Features)
Within the Tuya Smart APP interface, you can access various features for your smart keybox, including:
- Member Management: Add and manage users.
- Unlock Records: View a history of all unlocking events.
- Settings: Configure various parameters of the keybox.
- Remote Unlock: Unlock the keybox remotely (requires a Bluetooth gateway).
- Low Power Consumption: Efficient battery usage.

5.3 Adding User Fingerprint
To add a new fingerprint for unlocking:
- In the Tuya Smart APP, go to "Fingerprint Management".
- Click "Add Fingerprint".
- Select the user for whom you want to add the fingerprint.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to place your finger on the fingerprint recognition area of the lock multiple times until the process is complete.

5.4 Adding User Password
To add a new password for unlocking:
- In the Tuya Smart APP, go to "Password Management".
- Click "Add Password".
- Select the user for whom you want to set the password.
- Generate a 6-to-10-digit password and save it.
5.5 Adding User IC Card
To add a new IC card for unlocking:
- In the Tuya Smart APP, go to "Card Management".
- Click "Add Card".
- Select the user for whom you want to add the card.
- Tap the IC card on the keypad induction area of the keybox. The card is activated if the indicator blinks green twice and you hear a long sound.

5.6 Issuing Dynamic or Temporary Passwords
The Tuya Smart APP allows you to generate various types of temporary access codes:
- Dynamic Password: A one-time password that expires after 5 minutes.
- One-Time Password: Can be used only once before it expires.
- Periodic Password: Can be used multiple times within a set period.
- Time-Limited Password: Must be used at least once within 24 hours after activation, otherwise it becomes invalid.

6. Maintenance
- Battery Replacement: The keybox is powered by 4 AAA batteries. Replace them when the low battery indicator appears in the app or on the device.
- Emergency Power: If the batteries run out, you can use a USB cable to provide emergency power to unlock the keybox.
- Cleaning: Wipe the keybox surface with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents that may damage the finish or electronic components.
- Waterproof Feature: The keybox is designed to be waterproof for outdoor use. However, avoid submerging it in water or exposing it to extreme weather conditions for prolonged periods.


7. Troubleshooting
- Keybox not responding: Check battery levels and replace if necessary. Ensure the keybox is within Bluetooth range of your phone for app control.
- App connection issues: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone. Restart the Tuya Smart app and try pairing again. If using a Bluetooth gateway for remote access, ensure the gateway is powered on and connected to the internet.
- Fingerprint not recognized: Ensure your finger is clean and dry. Try re-registering your fingerprint if issues persist.
- Forgotten password: Use the Tuya Smart app to generate a temporary password or reset the device to factory settings if necessary (refer to Section 4.1).
- Physical damage: If the keybox sustains physical damage, especially to the electronic components, it may affect functionality. Refer to the warranty information for support.
8. Warranty and Support

- Limited Lifetime Mechanical and Finish Warranty: Covers mechanical components and the finish against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use to the original residential user.
