Maintenance

  • Always disconnect the power cable before cleaning or performing any maintenance.
  • Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the light body. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by a dry cloth.
  • Do not use harsh chemicals, solvents, or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the finish or internal components.
  • Keep the ventilation openings clear of dust and debris to ensure proper heat dissipation.
  • Store the light in a dry, dust-free environment when not in use, preferably in its original packaging or a protective case.
  • Regularly check the power cable for any signs of damage. If damaged, replace it immediately with an approved cable.

Troubleshooting

Light does not turn on:
  • Ensure the power cable is securely connected to both the light and the power outlet.
  • Verify that the power outlet is functional.
  • Check the power button on the light.
Light output is too low or inconsistent:
  • Check the brightness adjustment setting (0-100%).
  • Ensure no obstructions are blocking the light output.
  • Verify the color temperature setting is appropriate for your needs.
Remote or App control not working:
  • For app control, ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device and the light is paired.
  • Check the battery in your remote control (if applicable).
  • Ensure there are no significant obstacles between the remote/device and the light.
  • Restart the Godox Light App and/or the light.
Unusual noise during operation:
  • Check if silent mode is enabled. If not, activate it for quieter operation.
  • Ensure the ventilation openings are not blocked, which could cause the fan to work harder.
