2. Setup Guide

2.1 Charging the Watch

Before initial use, fully charge your MT15S Smart Watch. Place the watch on the provided USB wireless charging cable. Ensure the charging contacts on the watch align with the charger. The watch screen will indicate charging status.

2.2 Powering On/Off

• Power On: Press and hold the switch on/off button (refer to Figure 2) until the screen lights up.
• Power Off: Press and hold the switch on/off button, then select 'Power Off' on the screen.

2.3 App Installation and Pairing

The MT15S Smart Watch uses the 'Maitufit' app for full functionality. Download the app from your mobile phone's app store (compatible with Android 5.0+ and iOS 9.0+).

1. Download and install the 'Maitufit' app on your smartphone.
2. Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone.
3. Open the Maitufit app and follow the on-screen instructions to search for and pair with your MT15S watch.
4. Confirm the pairing request on both your phone and watch.

2.4 Strap Replacement

The watch bands are detachable. To replace a strap, locate the quick-release pins on the underside of the strap where it connects to the watch body. Slide the pin to detach the strap. To attach a new strap, align the pin with the lug holes and slide the pin into place until it clicks securely.

3.1 Basic Navigation

• Touch Screen: Swipe left, right, up, or down to navigate through menus and features. Tap to select.
• Rotary Button: The non-feel rotary button can be used to scroll through lists or adjust settings.
• Customizable Shortcut Button: This button can be assigned to quickly access a frequently used function.

3.2 Key Features and Functions

• Bluetooth Calls: Answer or dial calls directly from your watch when connected to your phone.
• Local Music Playback & Recording: The watch has 1GB of storage for music. Connect Bluetooth headphones to listen directly from the watch. It also supports recording.

• Activity Tracking: Features a Steps Tracker and supports 156 sports algorithms for various indoor and outdoor activities.
• Notifications: Receive app notifications, message reminders, and call reminders.

• Multifunctional NFC: Use the built-in NFC chip for access control (e.g., simulating door access).

4. Maintenance

4.1 Cleaning

• Wipe the watch screen and body with a soft, lint-free cloth.
• For silicone straps, wash with mild soap and water, then rinse thoroughly and dry.
• For steel straps, use a soft brush to clean crevices and wipe with a damp cloth. Ensure it is completely dry afterwards.
• Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials, as these can damage the watch.

4.2 Water Resistance (IP67)

The MT15S Smart Watch is rated IP67 waterproof and dustproof. This means it is protected against dust ingress and can withstand immersion in water up to 1 meter for up to 30 minutes. It is suitable for daily use, such as hand washing or light rain. However, it is not recommended for swimming, diving, or exposure to high-pressure water jets.

4.3 Battery Care

• Avoid fully discharging the battery frequently.
• Charge the watch regularly, even if not in use for extended periods, to maintain battery health.
• Use only the provided wireless charging cable.

5. Troubleshooting

• Watch not turning on: Ensure the watch is fully charged. Connect it to the charger and wait a few minutes before attempting to power on again.
• Cannot pair with phone: Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone and the watch is within range. Restart both the watch and your phone, then try pairing again through the Maitufit app.
• Inaccurate health data: Ensure the watch is worn snugly on your wrist, not too tight or too loose. Clean the sensor area on the back of the watch. Note that environmental factors and individual physiology can affect readings.
• Notifications not appearing: Check app permissions in your phone settings to ensure the Maitufit app has access to notifications. Also, verify notification settings within the Maitufit app.
• Short battery life: Reduce screen brightness, limit background app refresh, and disable unnecessary features to extend battery life.
• Local music playback issues: Ensure music files are correctly transferred to the watch's 1GB storage. Check Bluetooth connection to headphones.
