2. Important Safety Information

  • Power Rating: Ensure that the total power consumption of devices connected to the 16A WiFi Smart Power Socket does not exceed 3000W. For the 20A WiFi Smart Power Socket, the total power consumption must not exceed 3960W. Overloading can cause electrical hazards, including short circuits and fire.
  • Indoor Use Only: This device is intended for indoor use in dry locations only. Do not expose to rain, moisture, or extreme temperatures.

4. Setup Instructions

4.1. App Installation

The ONENUO Smart Plug works with the Tuya APP or Smart Life APP. Both are available on iOS and Android app stores.

  1. Search for "Tuya Smart" or "Smart Life" in your app store.
  2. Download and install the app.
  3. Open the app and register for a new account or log in if you already have one.

4.2. Device Pairing

Follow these steps to add your smart plug to the mobile app:

  1. Plug the smart socket into an EU wall outlet.
  2. Open the Tuya Smart or Smart Life app. On the home screen, tap "Add device" or the "+" icon.

    Step 4: Put the smart plug into pairing mode.
  8. In the app, confirm that the indicator light is flashing rapidly and proceed. Enter your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network password. (Note: Bluetooth is used for faster network distribution, but the device requires a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi connection).
  9. The app will begin adding the device. Wait for the process to complete.
