Introduction
This manual provides essential information for the safe and effective use of your new replacement laptop battery. Please read it thoroughly before installation and operation to ensure optimal performance and longevity of the battery.
Safety Instructions
CAUTION
- After the battery is installed in the laptop, please insert the adapter to activate the battery first, and then start the laptop, otherwise the laptop will not start normally.
- Never throw the battery pack into fire, as that could cause the battery pack to explode. Never heat the battery pack, as that could cause leakage of alkaline solution or other electrolytic substance.
- Never disassemble the battery pack, as that could cause leakage of alkaline solution or other electrolytic substance.
- Never short-circuit the main battery pack by either accidentally or intentionally bringing the terminals in contact with another metal object. This could cause personal injury or a fire, and could also damage the battery pack.
- Never hammer a nail into the battery pack. Never hit a hammer on the battery pack. Never step or tread on the battery pack.
- Always confirm that the temperature is 5°C-35°C before you charge the battery. Leakage, excessive heat, or deterioration of the battery pack may occur if this warning is not heeded.
- Never expose the battery pack to any liquid.
- If the liquid contained within the battery pack leaks, use large amounts of water and immediately wash off any liquid which may accidentally contact any part of the body. Remove any liquid that has contacted your clothes by washing them immediately with a synthetic detergent.
WARNING
- Keep the battery pack away from heat or fire, if you ever detect the emission of an extraordinary odor or leakage of alkaline solution or other electrolytic substance.
- Never dispose of used battery packs with other ordinary solid wastes, since they contain toxic substances. Always dispose of used battery packs in accordance with the prevailing community regulations that apply to the disposal of batteries. Cover the metal terminals with insulating tape, in order to prevent accidental short-circuiting.

Installation and Setup
Replacing a laptop battery typically involves opening the laptop casing. If you are unsure about the process, it is recommended to seek professional assistance or consult your laptop's specific service manual.
- Power Off: Ensure your laptop is completely powered off and disconnected from any power source.
- Discharge Residual Power: If possible, hold the power button for a few seconds to discharge any residual power.
- Open Casing: Carefully open your laptop's bottom casing to access the battery compartment.
- Disconnect Old Battery: Gently disconnect the old battery's cable from the motherboard. Remove any screws or clips securing the old battery.
- Install New Battery: Place the new battery into the compartment, ensuring it fits correctly. Secure it with any screws or clips.
- Connect New Battery: Connect the new battery's cable to the motherboard.
- Close Casing: Carefully close and secure the laptop's bottom casing.
- Activate Battery: After the battery is installed, connect the laptop to its power adapter to activate the new battery. Then, you can power on the laptop. Failure to activate the battery with the adapter first may prevent the laptop from starting normally.
Operating Instructions
Initial Charging and Activation
New batteries are generally not fully charged. Before initial use, it is recommended to:
- Use the remaining battery power until it reaches approximately 5%.
- Then, charge the battery completely. It is strictly forbidden to discharge the battery to 0%, as this can lead to charging issues and performance degradation.
- The best practice is to charge the battery in the off state until the power indicator turns green or goes out.
- The battery typically requires three to four full charge and discharge cycles to achieve its highest efficiency.
- Most laptops take about eight hours for a full charge. Digital batteries generally take no less than five hours, with about 75% charge in the first four hours.
General Usage
- Always use the authorized charger provided with your laptop or a compatible dedicated device for charging.
- Ensure the computer is turned off when charging and do not unplug the power supply during the charging process.
- Avoid using the battery in environments with excessively high or low temperatures (outside 5°C-35°C).
Maintenance
- Storage: If the battery is idle for a long time, it is recommended to charge it once a month to maintain the lithium-ion battery's health. A fully charged battery will naturally discharge over time, so periodic charging is necessary during storage.
- Physical Care: Avoid artificial impact, disassembly, falling, or short-circuiting the battery.
- Temperature: Do not expose the battery to direct sunlight or store/use it in a closed, unventilated vehicle to prevent overheating.
- Disposal: Never dispose of used battery packs with ordinary solid waste. Always dispose of them according to local community regulations for batteries, covering metal terminals with insulating tape to prevent accidental short-circuiting.
Troubleshooting
New Battery Not Charging
It is uncommon for a new battery to have charging issues. However, if your device charges the battery for the first time and stops charging when it's partially full (e.g., half-charged), this can be due to voltage and current instability.
Solution: If this occurs, do not worry. Simply use up all the remaining power until the battery is nearly depleted, then recharge it again. The initial charging process may require several repetitions to fully stabilize and activate the battery. This behavior is considered normal during the first few cycles.
User Tips
- Full Cycles for Longevity: For optimal battery life, perform full charge and discharge cycles (from near empty to full) periodically, especially during the initial activation phase.
- Avoid Extreme Discharge: While full cycles are good, avoid letting the battery drain completely to 0% frequently, as this can stress the battery and reduce its lifespan.
- Optimal Charging Temperature: Always charge the battery within the recommended temperature range of 5°C to 35°C to prevent damage and ensure efficient charging.
- Regular Use: If you primarily use your laptop plugged in, consider occasionally running it on battery power to keep the battery cells active.
Warranty and Support
Your battery comes with a one-year warranty from the date of purchase.
- If the goods are found to be defective upon receipt, please inform the seller within 3 days.
- If the battery is damaged or defective due to non-human reasons within one year, you may send it back for replacement. The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs. Upon receiving the defective unit, a replacement will be shipped within 3-5 working days.
