- Power On: Short press the "ON/OFF" key.
- Power Off: Long press the "ON/OFF" key.
- Model 5346-L (With Wireless):
- Power On: Short press the "ON/OFF/REF" key.
- Power Off: Long press the "ON/OFF/REF" key.
- Both models automatically shut down after 180 seconds of inactivity.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Measurement Modes

- Absolute Angle Measurement: The device defaults to absolute angle measurement mode upon startup. This measures the angle relative to a true horizontal plane.
- Relative Angle Measurement:
- Place the device on a surface you wish to set as the new "zero" reference.
- Model 5346: Briefly press the "ABS/REF" key. The LED display will show the sign "R".
- Model 5346-L: Briefly press the "ON/OFF/REF" key. The LED display will show the sign "R".
- The device will now measure angles relative to this new zero reference.
- To return to absolute angle measurement mode, briefly press the respective "ABS/REF" or "ON/OFF/REF" key again. The "R" sign will disappear from the LED display.
6.2 Angle Measurement Types
- Single Axis Measurement: The main display screen shows the angle between the horizontal fuselage and the horizontal plane (X-axis data). The measurement range is 4 x 90°.
- Dual Axis Measurement: When the angle between the back side and the horizontal plane is within ±60°, the device simultaneously measures and displays both X-axis and Y-axis data.
6.3 Data Locking (HOLD Function)
- To lock the currently displayed angle value, briefly press the "HOLD" key. The LED display will show an "H" icon.
- To release the lock, briefly press the "HOLD" key again. The "H" icon will disappear.
6.4 Unit Conversion
- Press the "IN/FT MM/M %" key to cycle through the measurement units: "MM/M", "%", and "°" (degrees).
6.5 Wireless Data Transmission (Model 5346-L Only)
The 5346-L model features wireless data transmission, allowing you to send measurement data to a Bluetooth-enabled device like a computer or smartphone.
6.5.1 Pairing with a Device
When using the wireless angle gauge and a receiving device (computer, cell phone, etc.) together for the first time, they need to be paired:
- On your receiving device (computer or smartphone), open the Bluetooth search function.
- On the SHAHE Digital Angle Gauge (Model 5346-L), long press the DATA button (Wireless Transmission Key) until the ")))" icon on the LCD begins to flash. This indicates the device is in search mode.
- Release the DATA button.
- Wait for your receiving device to find the angle gauge. It will typically appear with a name like "K-XXXXXXXXXX".
- Click to connect. After successful connection, the ")))" icon on the LCD of the wireless angle gauge will remain on (no longer flashing).
6.5.2 Data Transmission
Once connected, you can transmit data:
- Open a spreadsheet or other office software on your connected device and ensure the interface is active (e.g., a cell is selected in Excel).
- Briefly press the DATA button (Wireless Transmission Key) on the angle gauge.
- The current measurement data will be sent to your receiving device.
Data Format:
- Single Axis Measurement: X=350.10 (Example)
- Biaxial Measurement: X=18.10, Y=20.10 (Example)
Note: When measuring in wireless mode with single-axis measurement, the measurement range displayed by the product is 4 x 90°, while the measurement range displayed by the phone receiving the data is 0-360°. In dual-axis mode, the product and phone synchronize, and the displayed measurement range is ±60°.
7. Maintenance
- Keep the device clean and dry. Wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Avoid exposing the device to extreme temperatures, humidity, or direct sunlight.
- Store the device in a safe place when not in use to prevent damage.
- The magnetic base should be kept free of debris to ensure proper adhesion.
- Recharge the battery regularly to maintain its health, even if the device is not used frequently.
