4. Setup Guide

4.1 Installing the Battery, SIM Card(s), and Memory Card

  1. Remove the Back Cover: Gently pry open the back cover of the phone.
  2. Insert SIM Card(s): Locate the SIM card slots. Your phone supports two SIM cards. Carefully insert your SIM card(s) into the designated slots, ensuring the gold contacts face downwards and the cut corner aligns correctly.
  3. Insert Memory Card (Optional): If you wish to expand storage, insert a Micro SD (TF) card (up to 32GB) into the dedicated memory card slot.
  4. Insert Battery: Place the battery into the battery compartment, ensuring the contacts align with the phone's terminals.
  5. Replace Back Cover: Align the back cover and press firmly until it clicks into place.

4.2 Charging the Phone

Before first use, fully charge the phone's battery.

  • Using the Charging Cable: Connect the Type-C charging cable to the phone's charging port and the other end to a power adapter (not always included) or a USB port.
  • Using the Charging Cradle (CS182, CS188): Place the phone into the charging cradle. Ensure the charging contacts on the phone align with those on the cradle. Connect the charging cable to the cradle and a power source. The phone will indicate when it is charging.

4.3 Power On/Off

  • Power On: Press and hold the red 'End Call' button () until the screen lights up.
  • Power Off: Press and hold the red 'End Call' button () until the power off options appear, then select 'Power off'.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Basic Calls

  • Making a Call: Dial the number using the keypad and press the green 'Call' button ().
  • Answering a Call: When the phone rings, press the green 'Call' button ().
  • Ending a Call: Press the red 'End Call' button ().
  • Adjusting Volume: Use the dedicated volume buttons on the side of the phone during a call or to adjust ringtone volume.

5.2 SOS Emergency Function

The SOS button is located on the back of the phone. It allows you to quickly contact pre-set emergency numbers.

  1. Setting SOS Numbers: Navigate to 'Settings' > 'SOS Setting' in the phone menu. You can typically set up to 5 emergency contact numbers.
  2. Activating SOS: In an emergency, press and hold the SOS button for a few seconds. The phone will automatically call and send an emergency SMS to the pre-set numbers in sequence until one is answered.
