1. Product Overview

2. Setup

2.1 Unpacking

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Verify that all items listed in the package contents are present and undamaged.

2.2 Charging the Speaker

Before first use, fully charge the speaker. Connect the provided Type-C charging cable to the speaker's Type-C port and a compatible 5V/3A power adapter. A full charge typically takes 3-5 hours.

2.3 Power On/Off

Locate the ON/OFF switch/knob on the control panel. Toggle or rotate it to the 'ON' position to power on the speaker. To power off, toggle or rotate it to the 'OFF' position.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Bluetooth Connection

  1. Ensure the speaker is powered on and in Bluetooth mode (indicated by a specific LED or voice prompt).
  2. On your mobile device, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
  3. Select 'XDOBO Mirage' from the list to pair. A confirmation sound will indicate successful pairing.
  4. The Bluetooth transmission range is up to 12 meters in an open area.

3.2 Play Modes

The speaker supports multiple play modes:

  • Bluetooth (BT): Wireless audio streaming from your paired device.
  • AUX: Connect external audio devices using a 3.5mm AUX cable.
  • USB Disk: Insert a USB flash drive with MP3/WMA/FLAC/APE music files for direct playback.

3.3 Control Panel Functions

  • Volume Knob: Adjusts the overall speaker volume.
  • Bass Knob: Adjusts the low-frequency audio output.
  • Treble Knob: Adjusts the high-frequency audio output.
  • Echo Knob: Controls the echo effect for microphone input.
  • MIC Knob: Adjusts the microphone volume.
  • REC Button: Initiates recording (functionality may vary, refer to specific recording instructions).
  • MIC.PRI Button: Microphone priority function, lowers music volume when microphone is in use.
  • BT/AUX/USB/TWS Buttons: Selects the input source or activates TWS pairing.
  • OFF/ON Switch: Powers the speaker on or off.

3.4 Karaoke and Instrument Input

The speaker features a built-in sound card with reverberation and internal recording functions, making it suitable for karaoke and live streaming.

Connect a microphone to the MIC input (6.5mm) or an instrument (e.g., guitar) to the GUITAR input (6.5mm) on the rear panel. Adjust the MIC, Echo, Bass, and Treble knobs to customize your sound.

3.5 TWS Interconnection (True Wireless Stereo)

To achieve 360° surround sound, two XDOBO Mirage speakers can be paired wirelessly:

  1. Ensure both speakers are powered on and not connected to any Bluetooth device.
  2. Press the TWS button on one speaker. It will enter pairing mode.
  3. Press the TWS button on the second speaker. The two speakers will automatically connect to each other.
  4. Once paired, connect your mobile device to one of the speakers via Bluetooth. Audio will now play through both speakers in stereo.

3.6 Colorful Flame Atmosphere Light Effect

The speaker features a built-in high-definition full-color LED light strip at the bottom of the metal mesh, offering 5 types of light effects. These lights can be turned on or off via a dedicated button or control on the panel (refer to Figure 4 for button location).

4. Maintenance

4.1 Cleaning

Wipe the speaker with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents as they may damage the finish. Ensure no liquids enter the speaker grilles or ports.

4.2 Storage

When not in use for extended periods, store the speaker in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. It is recommended to charge the battery to about 50% before long-term storage to preserve battery life.

4.3 Battery Care

The speaker uses a built-in lithium battery. To maximize battery lifespan, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Recharge the speaker when the battery level is low. The speaker provides up to 12 hours of playtime, which may vary based on volume level and audio content.

5. Troubleshooting

5.1 No Power

  • Ensure the speaker is fully charged. Connect it to a power source using the Type-C cable.
  • Check if the ON/OFF switch is in the 'ON' position.

5.2 No Sound

  • Verify the speaker volume is turned up.
  • Check the volume on your connected audio source.
  • Ensure the correct play mode (BT, AUX, USB) is selected.
  • If using Bluetooth, ensure the device is properly paired and within range.
  • If using AUX, ensure the cable is securely connected to both the speaker and the audio source.

5.3 Bluetooth Connection Issues

  • Ensure the speaker is in Bluetooth pairing mode.
  • Disable and re-enable Bluetooth on your device, then try pairing again.
  • Move your device closer to the speaker (within 12m).
  • Clear previous Bluetooth pairings on your device and the speaker (if applicable) and try again.

5.4 Microphone Issues

  • Ensure the microphone is properly connected to the MIC input.
  • Adjust the MIC volume knob on the speaker.
  • If using a wireless microphone, ensure it is powered on and has sufficient battery.
