5. Setup Guide

5.1 Powering the Console

The WS2910_C console can be powered by either an AC adapter or AAA batteries.

  1. AC Power Adapter: Connect the provided USB to 3.5mm DC 5V power cord directly to the console. An AC plug is not included and must be supplied separately. When using the AC adapter, the backlight will remain on permanently.
  2. Battery Power: Insert 3 x AAA batteries (not included) into the battery compartment. When operating on batteries only, the backlight will turn on only when a button is pressed and will automatically turn off after 15 seconds to conserve power.

5.2 Console Placement

The console offers flexible placement options:

  • Tabletop: Place the console on a flat, stable surface.
  • Wall Mounting: Utilize the hanging holes on the back of the console to mount it securely on a wall.
