4. Setup and Initial Configuration
4.1 Powering On the Device
The VT300 typically powers on directly from the vehicle's OBD-II port. Connect the diagnostic cable to the VT300 and then to the vehicle's OBD-II port. The device should power on automatically. If not, ensure the vehicle's ignition is on (engine can be off).
4.2 Language Selection
The device supports 15 languages. The default language is English. To change the language:
- Navigate to the 'Setup' menu on the device.
- Select 'Language'.
- Choose your desired language from the list.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Connecting to the Vehicle
- Locate the vehicle's OBD-II port (usually under the dashboard on the driver's side).
- Connect the diagnostic cable to the VT300.
- Connect the other end of the diagnostic cable to the vehicle's OBD-II port.
- Turn the vehicle's ignition to the 'ON' position (engine can be off). The VT300 will power on and establish communication.
5.2 Full System Diagnosis
The VT300 can access and diagnose all available systems in your vehicle, including Engine, ABS, SRS, Transmission, TPMS, and more. This allows for reading and clearing trouble codes, viewing live data, and turning off malfunction indicator lights (MIL).
