Care and Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the watch case and strap regularly with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by drying.
- Avoid Chemicals: Do not expose the watch to solvents, detergents, perfumes, or other chemical agents, as they can damage the case, strap, or seals.
- Temperature Extremes: Avoid exposing the watch to extreme hot or cold temperatures for prolonged periods, as this can affect battery life and accuracy.
- Impact: While shock-resistant, avoid strong impacts or dropping the watch to prevent internal damage.
- Battery: The watch uses a Japanese battery. When the display dims or functions become erratic, it may be time for a battery replacement. It is recommended to have this done by a professional to ensure water resistance is maintained.
Troubleshooting
- Display is blank or dim: The battery may be low or depleted. Replace the battery.
- Buttons are unresponsive: Ensure the watch is not in a locked mode (if applicable, though not a feature for this model). If the issue persists, a reset might be needed (consult a professional).
- Watch runs fast or slow: The internal IC chip set is designed for accuracy. Significant deviation may indicate a need for battery replacement or professional inspection.
- Fogging inside the watch: This indicates a breach in the water resistance. Avoid further water exposure and have the watch inspected by a professional immediately.
User Tips
- The watch features a Taiwan IC chip set for accurate timekeeping, typically within seconds per month.
- The strap is made of Germany-imported PU resin material, designed to be soft, comfortable, and environmentally friendly.
