4. Setup and Installation
Follow these steps to properly install the intercom unit on your helmet:
- Attach the Clip: Loosen the screws of the clip and install it securely on the side of your helmet.
- Mount the Intercom: Slide the intercom unit onto the installed clip until it clicks into place.
- Install Microphone and Speakers: Use the Velcro adhesive inside your helmet to attach the speakers and microphone. Choose between the stick microphone or soft microphone based on your helmet type and preference.
- Organize Cables: Carefully organize any messy cables and tuck them inside your helmet's foam lining for comfort and a neat appearance.

5.1. Device Controls

- MOTOR/A Button (Power On/Off): Long press for ~2 seconds to power on/off.
- B Button: Used for intercom pairing and switching.
- C Button: Used for intercom pairing and switching.
- D Button: Used for intercom pairing and switching.
- E Button: Used for intercom pairing and switching.
- Phone Button (Call/Play): Manages phone calls and music playback.
- Volume + Button: Increases volume, long press for previous music track.
- Volume - Button: Decreases volume, long press for next music track.
- Antenna: For signal transmission.
- Earphone Interface / USB Charger Interface: Type-C port for headset connection and charging.
5.2. Phone Operations
- Power On/Off: Long press the MOTOR button for about 2 seconds to power on. The main device light will flash. To power off, long press the MOTOR button again.
- Connect with Phone (GPS/MP3): Long press the Phone button for 5 seconds until the red and blue lights flash alternately. Enable Bluetooth on your phone and search for "V6" to connect. Upon successful pairing, the intercom's blue light will flash. (This method also applies to GPS/MP3 devices with Bluetooth functionality).
- Last Number Redial: After connecting to your phone, long press the Phone button for 3 seconds. The device will automatically dial the last called number.
- Receiving a Call: When a call comes in, if no operation is performed within 5 seconds, the phone will automatically answer.
- Refuse a Call: When a call comes in, press the Phone button to end the call.
- Play/Suspend Music: Short press the Phone button to play or pause music (95% compatible with cellphone music players).
- Volume Control: Press the Volume + button to increase volume. Press the Volume - button to decrease volume.
- Choose Music: Long press the Volume + button for 2 seconds for the previous music track. Long press the Volume - button for 2 seconds for the next music track.
- Charging Tip: While charging, the red light will be continuously on. Once fully charged, the red light will turn off.
- Clear Pairing (Restore Factory Settings): Press the Phone button and the B button simultaneously. The indicator light will flash red three times and then blue once.
5.3. Intercom Operations
The V6 Plus supports up to six riders using the device, with two riders able to communicate in full-duplex intercom mode simultaneously. The main device can be paired with up to 5 sub-devices (labeled A, B, C, D, E). The main device can select one sub-device to talk to at a time.

- Pairing with Sub-Device A: Long press the MOTOR button on the main device and the A button on sub-device A for about 5 seconds simultaneously. Both devices' red and blue lights will flash. Once they find each other, one will automatically initiate a pairing connection, and its blue light will flash quickly. After a short period, both blue lights will flash slowly, indicating a successful connection for normal conversation. To pair the next sub-device, press the MOTOR button first to disconnect the current pairing.
- Pairing with Sub-Device B: Long press the B button on the main device and the B button on sub-device B for about 5 seconds simultaneously. Both devices' red and blue lights will flash. Once they find each other, one will automatically initiate a pairing connection, and its blue light will flash quickly. After a short period, both blue lights will flash slowly, indicating a successful connection for normal conversation. To pair the next sub-device, press the B button first to disconnect the current pairing.
- Pairing with Sub-Devices C, D, and E: The pairing method for sub-devices C, D, and E is the same as above, using their respective C, D, and E buttons.
Note: The main device cannot talk with all 5 other devices simultaneously; it selects one sub-device at a time. To switch between sub-devices (A, B, C, D, E), press the corresponding MOTOR/B/C/D/E button on the main device. The other five sub-devices cannot communicate directly with each other.
Important: For subsequent use, you do not need to pair again. Simply click the MOTOR/B/C/D/E buttons on the main device to connect and talk to the desired sub-device.
