5. Wiring Diagrams
Proper wiring is crucial for the safe and correct operation of the HMI PLC. Refer to the following diagrams for input, output, and analog wiring.
5.1 Digital Input Wiring (Diagram 10)
The PLC digital input is a passive NPN type. Connect the positive pole of the power supply to the positive pole of the transmitter, the negative pole of the transmitter to the input terminal, and the negative pole of the power supply to the common terminal of the PLC. The input signal is isolated from the power supply.

5.2 Relay Output Equivalent Circuit (Diagram 11)
This diagram illustrates the equivalent circuit for relay outputs. Each group of outputs is electrically isolated, and different groups of outputs can be connected to different voltages.

Figure 6: Diagram 11 Relay output equivalent circuit.
5.3 Transistor Output Equivalent Circuit (Diagram 12)
This diagram shows the equivalent circuit for transistor outputs. The output terminals are several groups, each group is electrically isolated. Different groups of outputs cannot be connected to different power circuits.

Figure 7: Diagram 12 Transistor output equivalent circuit.
5.4 Inductive Load Absorption Circuit Schematic (Diagram 13)
When connecting an inductive load, an absorption circuit is recommended to protect the output components. This diagram provides a schematic for such a circuit.

Figure 8: Diagram 13 Inductive load absorption circuit schematic.
5.5 Pulse Output Wiring Diagram (Diagram 14)
This diagram illustrates the internal circuit for pulse output wiring. Note that the internal circuit in all diagrams is for reference only.

8. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and reliable operation of your HMI PLC. Always disconnect power before performing any maintenance.
- Cleaning: Keep the screen and casing clean. Use a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Wiring Inspection: Periodically check all wiring connections for tightness and signs of wear or damage. Loose wiring can cause malfunctions or electrical hazards.
- Environmental Conditions: Ensure the operating environment adheres to the specified temperature and humidity ranges to prevent damage.
- Battery: The real-time clock uses a rechargeable battery to ensure that the clock is current. All power-off hold functions must ensure DC24V. The voltage after the source is loaded is 23V or more, and the PLC power-on time is longer than 2 minutes, otherwise the power-off function will be abnormal.
9. Troubleshooting
This section provides solutions to common issues you might encounter with your HMI PLC.
9.1 General Troubleshooting Tips
- Power Supply: Ensure the power supply voltage is stable and within the specified range (DC24V). Incorrect power can cause malfunctions.
- Wiring: Double-check all wiring connections. Incorrect wiring can lead to malfunctions or damage.
- Software Compatibility: Ensure you are using the correct and compatible software versions for HMI and PLC programming.
- Communication Issues: If communication fails, verify cable connections, port settings, and ensure the correct PLC type is selected for programming.
9.2 FAQ
- Q: Which PLC is used for communication and programming?
