5. Setup
5.1 Din Rail Installation
The energy meter is designed for easy installation on a standard 35MM Din Rail. Simply clip the meter onto the rail in your electrical panel.

5.2 Wiring Methods
The meter supports two wiring methods: top input and bottom output, or top output and bottom input. Ensure the Neutral (N) and Live (L) wires are connected correctly as indicated on the meter and in the diagram below.

6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Display Functions
The meter's LCD display shows various electrical parameters. The Pulse LED indicates the working status of the meter.
- Total Energy kWh: Displays the cumulative electricity consumption. This value cannot be reset.
- Temporary Energy kWh: Displays temporary electricity consumption.
- Voltage: Shows the real-time voltage.
- Current: Shows the real-time current.
- Power: Shows the real-time active power.
- Frequency: Shows the real-time frequency of the AC supply.
- Power Factor: Shows the real-time power factor.
6.2 Cycling Through Displays (DDS667, DDS668)
For models DDS667 and DDS668, press the button on the front panel to cycle through the different display parameters (Temporary Energy kWh, Voltage, Current, Power, Frequency, Power Factor). These models always display two values simultaneously, with power being one of them.
6.3 Resetting Temporary kWh (DDS667, DDS668)
To reset the Temporary Energy kWh on models DDS667 and DDS668, press and hold the button for 6 seconds. The Total Energy kWh cannot be reset on any model.
6.4 Models Without Button (DDS663, DDS662, DDS662-L)
Models DDS663, DDS662, and DDS662-L do not have a button or reset function. They continuously display the Total Energy kWh and do not offer temporary kWh readings or other parameters.
7. Maintenance
- Keep the meter clean and dry. Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning.
- Avoid exposure to extreme temperatures, high humidity, or direct sunlight.
- Do not attempt to open or repair the meter. There are no user-serviceable parts inside.
- Regularly check wiring connections for tightness and signs of wear.
8. Troubleshooting
- No Display: Check that the power supply is connected correctly and within the rated voltage range. Ensure all wiring is secure.
- Incorrect Readings: Verify that the meter is wired according to the diagram in Section 5.2. Confirm that the meter's voltage and current ratings are compatible with your electrical circuit.
- Temporary kWh Not Resetting (DDS663, DDS662, DDS662-L): These models do not feature a temporary kWh reset function.
- Temporary kWh Not Resetting (DDS667, DDS668): Ensure you are pressing and holding the button for the full 6 seconds required for the reset.
9. User Tips
- Ensure the meter's voltage and current ratings match your electrical system to prevent damage and ensure accurate readings.
- For models with a button, familiarize yourself with the button press duration for cycling through displays versus resetting temporary values.
