6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your JBD-LCD03 display, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

Table 2: Troubleshooting Guide
ProblemPossible CauseSolution
Display does not turn onNo power supply or incorrect wiring.Check the power supply voltage (6-15V/DC) and ensure J1-1 and J1-4 are correctly connected to the power source.
No data displayed / Incorrect readingsCommunication error with BMS or incorrect wiring of communication lines.Verify that J1-2 (TXD/RS485-A) and J1-3 (RXD/RS485-B) are correctly connected to the BMS communication ports. Ensure the BMS is powered on and functioning.
Display shows "Abnormal Alarm"Battery protection event triggered (e.g., overcurrent, overcharge, overdischarge, high/low temperature).Check the battery pack and BMS for the specific fault indicated. Address the underlying issue (e.g., reduce load, balance cells, allow battery to cool/warm).
Display enters sleep mode unexpectedlyNo current detected for 1-2 minutes. This is normal behavior. The display will wake up automatically when current is detected or by pressing the power button.
